actually, i do have one thing to say

i think this part of what punz said specifically, even if punz is a shitty person himself, should be paid attention to because it highlights a recurring trend in what we've seen come out the past couple weeks - silence based in fear. not for one's career, but for the way your friends will react. would they even believe you over someone with that much power? how can you be sure? so you say nothing.

and this silence of fear, while an understandable response emotionally-speaking, just allows that person to keep hurting others. and those others won't say anything either, because who would believe them? and it just goes on.

i don't think going on witch hunts for suspected enablers helps either when you have no idea who's silent to hide abuse, and who's silent to protect themselves from someone they think will hurt them or ruin their life

(and just to reiterate, yes, punz is in the wrong for his treatment of andi. this post isn't really about punz though, i'm just using his tweet as an example of a wider issue that seems to be poisoning the streaming industry. this post is not a defense of punz and i don't want defense of punz in my notes.)
