Ahhhhhhhhhh, after ten thousand years this page is updating!

Kindergarten was all MMPR all the time for me, so cosplaying from it was pretty inevitable.  This costume took a lot of work, but it was worth it -- it turns out, evil poses are a lot easier than pretty ones! Thanks to the Ellicott City crew for making this weekend magical. Evilly magical.

I’ve been working on this costume off and on for almost a year now. The bulk was made for Anime USA back in October last year, but since I’ve remade entire parts, for both Katsucon and Animazement, and I’m about to remake more! One of these days I’ll actually be satisfied. Alas. Sword boys are pretty but not practical for fighting bad guys. SLEEVES ARE SO CUMBERSOME. But I love this fussy peacock, so much. I just hope to do him justice.
