Everyone should follow what's happening at Columbia right now. This is the largest protest there since 1968, and the admin just stripped several students of healthcare and housing.

The NYPD arrested over 108 students camping on the South Lawn yesterday. Now, thousands have joined the demonstration. As Israel prepares to commit genocide, Palestinian and Jewish students are taking the lead in protesting institutional complicity around the world.

Small artists you need to understand that when you see an artist who you think has 'made it' tells you not to worry about the numbers and to not fret about getting more likes than reblogs they are not telling you it because they think you are stupid for caring or because they dont need to network to survive they are very likely telling you that because they have witnessed first hand the way the numbers game tears people to shreds in terms of mental health and motivation

Also if non-violent protests weren't a problem to them they wouldn't be trying to ban them. They wouldn't be arresting us and criminalizing us for it. If they weren't afraid of non-violent protests, of Black and brown bodies organizing en masse in opposition to them, they wouldn't have fearmongered every single day on the news about the 'globalization of the intifada' or 'jew-hate mobs'. Non-violence isn't for the sake of the enemy it's for the sake of the protestor, until it's no longer helpful.
