when i say i want to have a home, i mean i want a place in which i have do my hobbies arts hanged up my wall, shelves upon shelves of books, somewhere i can relax, have meals or snacks whenever i want, have it open for my friends and loved ones. make a place so inviting for everyone, that im the friend's house. i want a home with smell of baked goodies in the place, i want a home with walls the colours i always dreamed of, i want a home where i can where the clothes i only imagined would look cool as a kid. i want a home where i have fresh flowers everywhere, windows are open to let in the breeze and beautiful sunlight, i want a place with no screaming, no silent treatment. we talk our problems out. i want a place where friends can hangout every weekend, have meals, enjoy parties and have a good time, even stay overnight, because i always have extra pillows and blankets.

i want a home for the scared, little child i was. she deserves the world and i want to give her her own little world where she can be safe

The basic idea comes from the mind of @firemandeanbuck who entrusted me with giving this a try one day. We did some brainstorming quite a while ago, and I looove the idea, but it would have to be an angst fest and that's not exactly my forte 😅

The idea is that Hob is actually sort of a "magus" in his own right, very knowledgeable about the occult. He survives things people shouldn't with spells and trinkets and one day, he hears rumors about a guy named Burgess who wants to tame death. Hob becomes part of Burgess' circle, after all, immortality is the one thing Hob has always longed for but can't achieve by himself.

They do a ritual and actually imprison some sort of creature. It's not Death, but very pissed off and Burgess can't get anything from it. Now Hob on the other hand has a certain "gift." He "reads" people. It's easy for him to understand what people desire, he feels what they feel, even reads their thoughts in a way. Hob never planned to tell Burgess that, but since they're not getting anywhere, Hob convinces Burgess to let him talk to the prisoner and broker a deal.

The first time Hob tries to make a connection with Dream, he almost dies. This creature is so incredibly full of thoughts and emotions that Hob's tiny mind is overwhelmed. Still, he comes back every day, trying to talk to the thing. The guards think that nothing happens, but in his mind, Hob talks to the entity ... or Dream.

The thing is ... Dream, despite never admitting it, is hurt, deeply. He's suffering and anxious, since he can't fullfil his duties, and Hob begins to doubt himself. He can't bring himself to manipulate Dream. Instead, he fools Burgess and tries to think of a way to get Dream out. Of course, Hob is not an idiot. He knows that Dream might very well punish him for being a part of his imprisonment and freeing him might actually be the thing that kills Hob.

There's a bunch more angsty stuff to it, but I don't want to give everything away for a chance to actually write it one day 😆

Don't forget Love For Love's Sake nearly had all the romance content cut from it, the director had to fight to keep it from becoming a bromance show.

They spent ONE YEAR searching for Cha Yeonwoon's actor, that's almost unheard of in any sort of media, least of all in the BL genre, development blocks tend to kill any show/film chances of getting made. That dedication got us Cha Joowan.

Taevin went for it, he was looking for a BL role after having his queer storyline scrapped in The Penthouse, so he made a mission to get the role of Tae Myungha.

Love For Love's Sake really is that show.

So Phaya wakes up from a near-death experience and immediately runs home to Tharn and sucks his dick. Very much in character, 10/10, no notes.

But the absolute softness of it all. The way Phaya falls into Tharn. The reaffirming of their love, "you're only mine". The way Tharn's questions visibly dissipate and disapear as Phaya's touch becomes the only thing in his mind. Tharn's hands on Phaya's waist while laying in the bed, steadying him, ready to catch him should Phaya need him to. Phaya's kisses trailing down, the devotion, as if this was something sacred. Their hands intertwining. The way Tharn kisses Phaya's hand as he goes down on him.

Phaya needing to show his love, Tharn's relief of having Phaya again, both of them holding on to life and each other. Maybe not the best idea after a cardiac arrest? Yeah, maybe. But so soft. So horny and so soft.

Mind reading through touch? Stuck in a time loop until they save each other's lives? Traveling to parallel universe and falling in love there? Soulmates with one of them waiting for the other to reincarnate? Bl dramas with fantasy elements never miss

triage is a beautiful show & i 10/10 recommend it to anyone who loves fantasy around time paradoxical scenery; and angst and romantic yearning and just good friends and ofc- doctors doing their thing.

can i just emphasize on how beautiful the characters were? i love how every character in every timeline had a certain spectrum and circumstance to them that led to be what they were; and that doesn't just seperate the side characters or tol but tin too?

like, you see him being this monotonous and clearly overworked doctor trying to get through the day in the beginning, while it was clearly implied how he has been carrying the weight of his past and injustice on his back only for us to get just twn minutes (?) before tin is sent BACK in time: and the narrative makes his experiences repetitive enough for us to not be able to figure out the tin he was before all this until we reached the second last ep???

i like that so much. i love his flaws, i love how he has learnt to teach others better and has also gotten to learn the same lesson himself. when it comes to characters, there's a lot to say so moving to the plot and what i believe really drove things ahead was the way the story was directed.

i loved the screentime tin and his friends got or how every character had their own moments of being real that made them real for me through the whole experience. even if tin & tol don't fit this wide frame of to-be-done romantic things, the romantic aspects of their relationship were explored well enough like any other starting from basic humanity to knowing each other better and caring.for.each.other.

it's so basic and it's progressive and their experience with time loops made them even more vigilant of themselves and even though the story was smthg like a helical structure that tin untangles and tol straightens; and even if things turned out TOO well for those who deserved when i KNOW that reality doesn't work that way, i'm really satisfied with the way everything finally worked out in the end.

i want that suicidal student to live and thrive, i need tol to be better and learn better, i need tin to compartmentalize his morals, emotions, experiences and the line in between when he's treating his patients, i need more romantic crumbs and tin's friends being badass and i just as wanr illegal organ smugglers in jail and possibly dead.
