I do lowkey wonder if I’m making a mistake getting a cat … went for a walk through the park today and saw so many people with dogs and my heart was filled with longing …. I already knew I’m more of a dog person but what if I’m not as much of a cat person as I thought and it sucks and I should’ve gotten a dog instead ….

so my dad grew up on a farm and had many many goats and many many cats over the course of his childhood with many many names. so this coincidence is far more likely than some other coincidences in the world. but we still never let it go that he had a cat with my name and a goat with my sister’s name. whenever possible my sister and I WILL bring it up like ‘I can’t beLIEVE you named me after a goat’

i'll go first my parents almost named me felicity. which would've been so cool but i definitely would've been like 5x crazier if i was named that

#my parents were gonna name me paige but while my mom was y’know drugged out on painkillers #from having a baby #someone on the hospital intercom was like ‘paging dr so-and-so’ #and my mom just turns to my dad and goes ‘we canNOT name our baby that’ #they were gonna name me Paige for my grandma who passed away a year or two before #my grandma was not named Paige
