[HAIKYUU MANGA SPOILERS]

Nah because he litteraly grew from nothing.

He didn't go to some big school like Aoba Josai or Shiratorizawa, nah he went to Karasuno. I know a lot of Haikyuu fans have already discussed the classist system/parallels of Haikyuu but still I just find it so interesting. This little school comes out of nowhere and pulls themselves to the top from sheer passion and determination (as well as training and a lot of failure) and Shoyo is the perfect example for that.

I love the line "I am Hinata Shoyo, from the concrete" because it just rings so right ?? Idk. He just grew from nothing like I said.

My mans went through some shit, never being able to play properly in a team until highschool, having to partner up with the guy he wanted to beat the most, having to face so much doubt and critizism from others because of his height but did that ever discourage him ? NO he just saw that as a challenge and kept going GOD IT'S SO INSPIRING

This is why the end of the Kamomedai vs Karasuno match destroys me so much.

Haikyuu is such a human story. Getting a fever from excitement mixed with stress is such a human thing. It sucks but it's also painfully logical. Especially for Shoyo who probably never takes a break from anything since he has so much energy.

But he let that knock him down ? No, he kept going.
