#2020 has been a struggle for us all in such similar and distant ways. This year has forced me to pause and look at life differently - to appreciate my family and the few blessings we have. In October I contracted covid and spent close to a month locked in my house. While it didn’t kill me, almost 3 months later I’m still dealing with lingering effects. Going through so many pictures today thinking of our time spent together. It occurred to me that this is the 1st time in 14 years that I haven’t had my boys. Paco and tug have been with me through so many journeys and adventures. They were not only my dogs, they were also loved and adopted by all my roommates past girlfriends & extended family. Tug was by Sarah’s side every day while she was pregnant and worked from home the last few years. Long story short, dogs are awesome. They give us more then we give them credit. RIP Tug RIP Paco. Yesterday Sarah and I had to say goodbye to our beloved Tug Boat. He was diagnosed with a tumor in his spine that was causing nerve damage and the loss of his ability to move. I have never met a happier animal, a perfect poster boy for the APBT breed. He protected and loved our two year old as if she was his. They were best friends. He was my best friend.
