Hello everyone! Long time no see!

Today I wanna share with you this trainer commission by the hands of the amazing @platinumamiii.

The story behind this is that I asked for a couple commissions in the past but I couldn't help but feel a bit jealous seeing other people have a team portrait. I even had plans to print it and have it in my room. I don't know, maybe I'm a big kid.

I couldn't think of poses but Naruto solved the problem with the six paths of pain and as you can see the team turned out to be amazing!My final touch was to use the Greek flag as the background to roleplay as the regional champion 🤣

However at the time the piece was done, my father had a stroke and while he was recovering, my grandpa died, then after a month my aunt and afterwards my grandma. I'm from a rural part of Greece and the traditions I was raised under dictate that you are not supposed to have fun, not even cook sweets in your home. I don't know of it's an expression of grief or a way to show the dead respect for all the fun they now miss but that's how it goes.

And as far as the team sketch is concerned, it was definitely an indulgence and something that would make me smile like a kid. From time to time, I felt guilty for having it and also guilty for me and Ami for not putting it where it was intended to be. Sometimes it even felt like a mistake, like the implusive purchase of a snack, or a t shirt you bought but never wore.

But all this nonsense belongs to the past, the canvas finally arrived and this proud nerd finally learned his lesson to treat himself, like that batman clip from Parks and Rec.

Love Mockery of reality! Ravenous One is also a good card, but I can't help but imagine that Eldrazi actually have stomach problems if they eat too much 🤣
