Jo about his private life:

I can only say that life off the pitch, in other words real life, is much more important - due to the children, of course. Football used to dominate my everyday life. Today, football is my job, my passion, my hobby. If I used to play well, everything was fine at home and if not, the day was over. The latter is no longer the case today

At home, I'm completely the dad. Anything else wouldn't do the children justice either

Now that I've been away for almost ten days, I'm overcome with the feeling that my wife deserves a statue because she's doing it all on her own

I always feel what my wife does when I am alone with all the children. I really appreciate what she does

I'm aware that I might offend people sometimes, but it's not worth pretending because of that. At the end of the day, it's about being a good father, a good husband and a good footballer. Everyone out there can decide for themselves whether they like what I do or not
