Pairing: Husband! Taehyung x Wife! Reader

Genre: almost divorce au and angst… fluffy ending tho i promise <3333

Summary: With almost an end on your marriage, Taehyung once remind you how much he loves you.

“Y/N, what the fuck are these?” Taehyung stormed into your shared bedroom, throwing a pack of divorce papers onto the bed, right in front of you.

“Divorce papers?” You replied as if it wasn’t obvious.

“I know it’s divorce papers! Why the hell were they on my desk?” He snapped due to your calm reply, pinching the bridge of his nose.

“I don’t know… maybe because you were the one who suggested it?” You scoffed, finally looking up at him.

Taehyung looked like a mess. His hair was all messy which meant he probably ran his hand through it more than you can count, eyebrows furrowed, and his lips was swollen which meant he kept biting it.

“You can’t be seri-”

“What do you mean by that, Tae?! I wasn’t the fucking one who wished they shouldn’t have married me,” You cut him off angrily. Taehyung could feel the heat radiating off your body.

The fight started a few days ago, when you went to visit him at his office.

“Come in!” Tae yelled out as you opened the door.

“Hi baby, are you almost done? Our reservation is in 30 minutes,”

“Oh, shit! Y/N- love- fuck, I totally forgot about our reservation. I need to stay back and finish some paperwork,” He frowned.

“What? But- we’ve made these reservations for almost a month now. And you’re the boss, can’t you- I don’t know? Just finish it tomorrow or tell Jihyo to finish it? We haven’t been on a date night in forever,” You pouted, pleading him with your eyes.

“I know, baby, and I’m sorry! I am, but- I need to finish these by tonight for one of the most important meetings I have tomorrow, you know that. Maybe we can postpone it to next week or something?” Taehyung suggested, letting out a deep sigh.

He felt terrible, he really did, but it had slipped his mind! With so much going on at his business which was starting to get bigger, Taehyung just couldn’t keep track with such and such like these things.

“But Tae-,”

“Y/N, I’m sorry, but I really can’t tonight,”

You bit down on your lip to stop yourself from crying as Taehyung went back to doing papers.

“You never make time for me anymore,” You mumbled under your breath as you turned around, ready to get out of here and lay in bed and cry.

You didn’t think Tae would have heard what you said, but he definitely did. And for some reason, it spiked his anger.

“Cut that crap, Y/N. I make plenty of time for you!” He defended.

“Cut that crap? Really? So what, now my feelings are just crap? Gosh, Tae! You don’t even know how much I have missed you. And for fuck’s sake, I thought tonight would be the reminder I needed to know that you still care about me, but I was wrong! We barely spend time with each other anymore. You’re always staying back at your office everyday and you don’t even come until midnight! D-do you even love me anymore? Let alone, want me?” You finally let out your feelings, along with a choked sob.

“How can you even say that, Y/N? Oh, because I can’t make it to ONE date night, suddenly I don’t love nor want you anymore? Of course I love you! And of course I still want you! More like need,”

“Well it doesn’t seem like it at this very moment,” You fired back.

“You’re so annoying! If I knew you were going to be this annoying, I should have never married you!” Taehyung shouted, banging his hand down onto his desk.

If words could kill, it would be those words that just came out of Taehyung’s mouth. You found it hard to breathe within the second. It felt like you had just been stabbed in the chest with a knife.

“Baby- I didn’t mean-,” His face and voice softened at your expression and quietness.

You shook your head rapidly, turning around and dashing out of your husband’s office quickly before he could try to catch you.

“Fuck!” Tae yelled, kicking the side of his desk.

The flashbacks of that night surrounded Tae’s head quickly. He don’t know what overcame him that night, but everything he said was not true. It killed him to know that he would even say those words to you, angry or not. He didn’t mean it. None of it.

“Darling, you know I didn’t mean any of it. I was just so upset at myself for forgetting and then there was the paperwork I had to finished- fuck, I’m just so sorry. I promise you, I love you so much. You are my breath, my heart, if I don’t have you, I wouldn’t be alive. I married you because I love you more than life itself. You are everything to me, Y/N. And I’m so fucking sorry if I have done such a horrible job showing it as a husband,” Taehyung started crying, walking towards you because all he wanted was to hold you in his arms, to make sure you were still here.

You couldn’t help but started crying as well, wrapping your arms around your husband’s body as soon as he was within an arm reach, “I’m sorry for saying all that in the first place and being dramatic, I just missed you so much,”

“Shh, don’t. Your feelings are valid and you were not being dramatic. I’m really sorry I made you feel like that, baby. I’m your husband, I should remind you all the time how much I love and need you to the point where you’d wish I’d stop,” He quickly reassured you.

You nodded, tightening your grip on him, as if he would vanish from you in a second.

“Gosh, I love you so fucking much, Y/N. You are a dream to me. You’re always waiting until midnight just so you can have dinner with me even though by the time I come home you’re already asleep. You’re always keeping our little house clean and warm. You’re always welcoming me with open arms when I come home and you haven’t fallen asleep. What did I ever do to deserve you, darling? You’re perfect,”

Taehyung took a deep breath, pulling back and giving your forehead a kiss, “I love you, Kim Y/N. I have from the very first moment I met you, and I will until my last breath,”

“And I love you, Kim Taehyung. Until the end of time and after that,” You breathed out before smashing your lips onto his. You could taste and feel the salty tears on his lips, but you didn’t care. All you cared about at this very moment was Taehyung as you tried pulling him closer to you as if he wasn’t already as he pushed you down onto the bed, deepening the kiss.

You knew that the two of you were going to be okay as Tae made love to you that night and reminded you every second just how much he loves you.
