we are so obsessed with beauty that we forget that love has nothing to do with beauty. love doesn’t presuppose beauty: love creates it. beauty is a finite thing, love is not. beauty cannot come before love, but love makes anything beautiful.

sometimes I reblog stuff from people I’m not following and I feel like I walked into a store and just stole stuff and walked out.

It's rather funny actually the way life thinks.
It's under the impression that a gentle and the politest reminder to me, being still alive ,is corporeal pain in the middle of your chest rather than a smile on your face.

Was becoming a reporter always been your dream? My dream? I’m not sure. I don’t think not living your dream means you’ve failed at life. And I don’t think living your dream means you’ve succeeded either. I simply want to do well at my job right now. That’s my current dream.

It's November and all I can sum up this year in is -" it went in a daze". Whilst being a different year it was the same. I am still standing here again and saying it again I don't remember what I was doing this entire time and where all of this time went and why life is in such a hurry....tbc

I live in the past.
I recall everything that has happened to me and I arrange it. From a distance, like that, it doesn't do any harm, it might almost take you in. Our story is all quite beautiful. I add a few touches here and there and it makes a whole string of perfect moments. Then I close my eyes and I try to imagine that I'm still living in it.

I am strangely tired, not from having talked so much but at the mere thought of what I still have to say.
For everything, I ever wanted to say I swallowed

The most terrifying thing about this world is not having anyone.
Because then you are left all alone with your body that can’t love you and your will that can’t save you.

Why didn't I learn to treat everything like it was the last time? Why had I never wanted something this badly, and held it in my hands knowing that tomorrow it would be gone?
My greatest regret was how much I believed in the future.

I felt like I had proof that not all days are the same length, not all time has the same weight.
It's a strange thing, but when you are dreading something, and would give anything to slow down time, it has a disobliging habit of speeding up.
Carol Rifka Brunt/J.K. Rowling, Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire
