I'm not even the type to be very into fix-its but SOMEONE needs to fix destiel. all I'm going to write for the next month is going to be fluff.

Not to be cringe on main, but I will be reading Supernatural fanfic for ages. I love the characters! Kripke and Co. made such a meaningful story with beautiful symbolism and parallels, but they just... forgot to make it a good show. 

Also I for sure have SPN fic outlines in my WIP folder. The only question is if they’ll ever see the light of day.

he got killed.... by a mime vampire. Not even a mime vampire. by a. NAIL.

I feel like they were trying to make this big statement about how Dean was just a human at the end of his life (or even some fucked up Jesus crucifixion symbolism?), but it fell so flat. 

That being said, the death scene did make me emotional because I am weak. The “Please tell me it’s okay, tell me it’s okay Sam” part hit me hard. It’s about the need to be redeemed even when you think you are irredeemable!

Also, the way that it’s like... beat for beat Tony’s death in Endgame? Like, “It’s okay. You can go now.” is like, one word off from Pepper’s line. We love to see it.

I’ve been talking about this all week with my best friend! I lived through TJLC, I have seen this film before and I didn’t like the ending... I had hope for tonight, but I should have known they were too chicken to show a canonically queer Dean Winchester

God but we for real did that with Johnlock... What a wild ride that was. To be fair, I was the peak demographic they were trapping as a queer optimistic teen. But I have been let down so many times.

I could pick thousands of lines from fics I adore for this, but we’re going to go with one of the more recent ones I read that had me having to stop for a moment and collect myself. 

This is from Self-Made Man by @fourdaysofrain, which is an absolutely gorgeous Trans!Tony Stark AU that I recommend to literally every single person who reads this. The little bit quoted here comes from the point in the story in which Tony is just starting to come into his own:

She never knew how to live in peace.

He’s starting to figure it out.

The lines are so simply written but they say so, so much, and there’s a ton more just like them in the fic. Seriously, go read, right now!!

I’m gonna go ahead and assume that you were the anon that sent the prompt just before this-- don’t apologize, bud! You didn’t bother me at all! If I didn’t want to get asks, I would close my ask box. I love getting messages, even if I’m not as active anymore :)

I will warn you though, I haven’t written any irondad in a solid couple of months, so I probably won’t be able to write a fic for your prompt anytime soon. It’s a cute prompt though! You should try to write it yourself! I also haven’t seen it written before. Writing fic has been such a great way for me to not only get better at writing in general (as my grades have shown), but it’s also just a nice way to process emotions and stuff. Even if you don’t think you’re a good writer, do it! There’s no other way to get better than to start!
