I’m finally getting to drawing those requests, baby! @princeasimdiya12 requested Ochako and Izuku from My Hero Academia dressed up as George and Harold. Kinda like an AU of sorts.
I hope you like it, although it doesn’t look as great as I wanted it to be due to my artist’s block.
Ok so I asked my buddy @frappsundies to draw some stuff for me! You see, Yuki mistakes a lizard George for her best bud Drákon. Harold calls her out on it, and, as you see…Drákon gets angry when someone calls Yuki dumb. rip Harold, what will Melvin do without him… Yuki and Drákon are by me, and the Bad Dolphin AU (and the alternate universe boys) are by Frapps.
( So I’ve just received this very confusing submission and I’m not quite sure how to address it so I’ll make a post and show a screenshot for context.
I’ve cropped out the person who sent it cause they sent it from an e-mail address instead of a tumblr account, so its out of the image to keep them confidential.
I have a few issues with what was sent though.
1. If you are going to send me artwork PLEASE SOURCE IT. This specific art comes from the artist that made the bad dolphin and mythos au, and goes by @frappsundies(if you want this tag removed I can remove it for ya). I can’t find the original post but I recognize the style from how they always give Melvin’s glasses a shine effect.
2. I did not make this comic. While I’ve dabbled with the idea of Melvin dating one of the boys, nothing has been official and I’m honestly not a huge shipper. I really don’t know how to respond to questions/submissions regarding shipping cause Melvin doesn’t care about love or holding hands for the most part. I try to play him as much to the show and some of the book that hes a grumpy isolated kid who needs friends. So I don’t know what to really tell you about the comic outside of that it’s a cute idea.
To make a long story short, source your images and I can’t really react to stuff about shipping outside of making melvin saying affection is icky or something. )
I’m very curious about the shell necklaces that Harold and Heidi have in the Mythos AU. You said that they allow them to be out of the water for a long period of time, or something along those lines. Does that mean that if they took them off while they were out of water, that they would suffocate? If so, I’m having dark fanfic ideas......with happy endings of course

You’re close, actually. It’s more like, they get sick. Breathing would probably become more complicated but they wouldn’t suffocate. Their tails also come back after a while of not having the necklace on, and without water, they dry out. Freshwater is also not exactly a replacement for seawater, but it works for a little while if they HAVE to use it.
Mythos AU question. How does Harold feel about the Little Mermaid ?(could be either the Disney or the original version). Also, those blue sparkle blushes are adorable.

In a way, he’s quite similar to Ariel. Harold’s father wouldn’t let him interact with land dwellers. Not that he likes his dad or was opposed to obeying him, but he’s the king after all.
Even though creatures and beasts that live on land might be different and could be dangerous, Harold still wanted to see their world. (Be a part of it even) And how can you just ignore a sad face?
If he hadn’t been a little adventurous he would never have met his friends. Or more specifically, Melvin.
