A quick google search leads me to a quick Wikipedia page that says the 2022 edition was broadcasted on DAZN.

Searching on DAZN's Youtube channel, I can verify that is indeed there -- highlights and full matches.

And if they stop calling her up, that can still be interpreted as dropping her.

Anyway, I know I said remedial actions should be done in response to her posts, but I personally don't want to talk about the specifics of it. I know others might want to have that conversation, and for USWNT and PSG fans that's actually good to have, but I am neither and I don't want to spend any more mental "space" on it.

What exactly did Korbin Albert do?

Reposted homophobic and transphobic stuff on her TikTok. She also publicly liked a post that was cheering that Megan Rapinoe got injured during her last-ever game.

She's probably deleted the posts from her account now, but there were some screenshots of it on Twitter. I didn't bother to actually look at her account to watch the videos she's posted because I don't want to be exposed to that kind of toxicity (and I don't have TikTok), but it's enough that Megan Rapinoe responded to them (the homophobic/transphobic posts) + Becky Sauerbrunn reposted Rapinoe's response.

If your posts were criticised by Rapinoe and Sauerbrunn -- two amazing and compassionate human beings who also happen to be huge legends of the game -- then you've screwed up really, really badly.

To be so full of yourself to publicly post your hate is unthinkable in any level of football. It speaks of someone who thinks that their bigoted views are valid and should be respected. It speaks of someone who is proud of their mean and hateful ideas. And that notion should be nipped in the bud, it should not be given a millimetre of breathing room.

If this were a WSL player, they would be taken to task by supporters groups and likely their team and the FA itself.

The USWNT and PSG should respond. Hopefully supporters groups are pressuring them to do so.

People like Korbin Albert need to be disabused of the notion that they can propagate hateful and dangerous rhetoric against LGBTQ+ people without any consequences. If you allow these bigots the slightest leeway, more of them will come to take up what was once a safe space.

I don't mean that she just needs to post an apology. Looking at what she's done, an apology should only be the start of it. And it's not enough that the mostly-former USWNT players have responded to her, it should not only be on them to call her out.

There should be a response from the USWNT management about it. When players from the Austrian men's team participated in some homophobic chants during a club match, their coach Ralf Rangnick dropped them from the team. He made a very clear statement that homophobia has no place in their national team. I don't mean that Albert has to be dropped--after all she has done the PR-move and "apologised"--but the USWNT management must come out with a statement that the things she's posted are not acceptable, and that they have taken remedial actions about it. PSG must do the same thing too.

So with these kinds of questions, you can mostly figure it out for yourself with these steps:

Check the list of broadcasters for a match. Women's Soccer TV and Live Soccer TV are good sources for this information.

Check if there is a broadcaster from an English-speaking country

If you are in that country, you can check the website/app of the broadcaster and see if the replay is still there.

If you are not in the country, you can try with VPN if you don't have one. (Although don't bother trying if it's a paid service because it's really difficult to get through those.)

If you don't have access to the broadcaster and want to check if someone has uploaded it on YouTube or another video-hosting website, you can search (on YouTube or Google) then filter the duration to "Over 20 minutes". You can filter it further by upload date, e.g. "This week", "This month"

You can also try some subreddits like "r/footballdownload" or "r/footballhighlights"

There might be other sources too, but it's almost always difficult to search beyond that. But if you really want it you can try different keyword combinations on google 🙂

*First of all, I hesitated to use the word "conflict" because it does not describe the crimes Israel has committed against Palestinians.

Long before October 7th, Palestinians were being dragged out of their homes because Israelis wanted to settle on their lands. Literally dragged out of the tiny settlements that Israel cornered them into. And when they attempted to leave those tiny settlements they get harassed by Israeli soldiers.

You think that Palestinians started or restarted the violence on October 7th, but you are not considering the daily violence that Palestinians have been facing under the Israeli government for decades. A group of people is oppressed and treated less than human and you think they were not supposed to fight back?

And when they do fight back, their oppressors immediately responded in an overblown proportion.

30,000+ Palestinians murdered, about 10,000 of which are children

Hospitals bombed

Universities burned down to the ground

People's homes destroyed

Palestinians being told to evacuate to one place and when they get there that place gets bombed too

Israelis stopping aid trucks going to Gaza

Palestinians gathering to get aid and then being massacred wholesale

Those are only the things off the top of my head. I can't remember them all because Israel has done so many abhorrent things against the Palestinian people. One would probably need hundreds of pages of documents just to list what Israel has done.

If you think Israel has done nothing that's worthy of sanctions, then you're either ignorant or heartless.

There is a genocide happening. Israel is committing it.

(I'm not even including the western countries who are aiding Israel, or the Arab countries who have stayed silent. That is a whole other topic.)
