Now that I’ve read Midnight Sun I’m so ANGRY that the Cullens could live anywhere in the entire fucking world and they choose to come back to Forks again and again, where they force the Quileutes, on their own land, to go through painful transformations that many of them admittedly hate. Like half the Cullens whine and moan about hating that they can’t be human, then they forcefully make these teenagers turn into ~*effectively immortal*~ giant wolves that are hot all the time, have tempers, and can be forced to imprint on a soulmate that they spend forever with just so they can live in their favorite house? 

The audacity. The selfishness. The gross weird way that they’re so convinced of their invincibility. The Cullens are so vain and selfish like Midnight Sun made me see them as like… truly the monsters that Billy and the rest of mythology sees them as. IDK what SM was trying to do with it tbh.
