I have this image in my head of Sam waking up from a nightmare. He knows there’s no point in trying to fall asleep again, so gets out of bed.

Bucky, who is lying awake in the guest bedroom hears Sam’s footsteps as he makes his way down the hall and out of the front door. Not long after, Bucky walks over to the window. From there he has a clear view of Sam as he flies through the air, illuminated by the moonlight.

If he’s being honest with himself Bucky’s always thought Sam was beautiful, but right it’s on a whole nother level. He truly looks like an angel.
