thinking about werewolves and the concept of becoming a monster and discovering that something savage and uncontrollable exists within you and the potential that has to be a liberating narrative about growth and change and courage rather than a story about controlling and concealing it
The way the BG3 fandom treats Wyll is fucking gross and sometimes downright racist. You don't have to like him, but y'all are really letting your vileness show. Do better.
I am tired of seeing trash people going either "black man/black woman/black people break my immersion" constantly, excluding them as if they don't exist as part of the cast, or reducing black characters to stereotypes. It's exhausting to see and exclausting to constantly be on edge when they are part of a main cast.
I know I've said it in the past, but I will at least try to be more active here if I can (try). However, the thought of posting more on social media had felt more like a chore as of late, and I've felt more satisfied browsing than posting.
Current Fixation: Baldur's Gate 3 as an Oath of "Knuck if you Buck" (vengeance) paladin.
Of course, she looks like a Nightmare Edgelord cosplayer with the Oathbreaker armor mod. :V
“It's taboo to admit that you're lonely. You can make jokes about it, of course. You can tell people that you spend most of your time with Netflix or that you haven't left the house today and you might not even go outside tomorrow. But rarely do you ever tell people about the true depths of your loneliness, about how you feel more and more alienated from your friends each passing day and you're not sure how to fix it. It seems like everyone is just better at living than you are. A part of you knew this was going to happen. Growing up, you just had this feeling that you wouldn't transition well to adult life, that you'd fall right through the cracks. And look at you now, it's happening.”
