I was up in the mountains recently, in a nice secluded cabin and it was such a much needed mental break from everything, but of course my brain couldn’t help but think of OTP situations and here we are 😆 Just a little something soft, fun, and sappy ‘cause my soul needs it right now.

“Luce! Have you seen my blue jacket around anywhere?”

“Which one?” Lucy poked her head into their bedroom.

Natsu paused from rummaging through the closet, turning to her and running a hand through his messy hair. “Y’know, the thick dark blue one with the hood and cool pockets? I was gonna take it up there, but I can’t find it,” he sighed.

“Hmm, sorry, I haven’t seen it lately,” Lucy said, sitting on the edge of the bed.

“Maybe I left it at dad’s the last time we were there?”

“Natsu,” Lucy laughed, shaking her head, “you have tons of other hoodies and jackets to take with you.”

“Yeah… but not as cool as that one,” he pouted dramatically.

Lucy rolled her eyes, grinning. “C’mon, you goof, I’m almost done packing up the kitchen and bathroom stuff,” she said, standing and pressing a kiss to his pout.

“Alright, alright,” he sighed, “I’ll pack a couple extra hoodies since you’re probably gonna take them anyway,” Natsu smirked.

“Hey, I’m not gonna deny it, because that’ll probably happen. Not my fault your hoodies are so soft,” Lucy laughed brightly, and Natsu couldn’t help but pull her close and kiss her smile.

Christmas Tree

My Nalu Winter Wonderland contribution.

Summary : Mirajane had asked Lucy, Natsu and Happy to buy the tree that was going to be in the middle of the guild. Natsu and Happy wanted to buy the biggest tree they would find. Lucy was looking for the perfect tree to make memories with her friends.

Lucy, Nastsu and Happy were at Magnolia Market. Mirajane had asked them to buy the tree that was going to be in the middle of the guild. Natsu and Happy wanted to buy the biggest tree they would find. Lucy wanted a tree that would allow all of the guild members to decorate it all together. Lucy did not just want to buy a tree. She was looking for the perfect tree to make memories with her friends.

‘Lucy look!’ Natsu exclaimed.

He and Happy stood in front of the biggest tree of the market, proud to show her what they had found. Lucy opened her eyes wide.

‘It’s way too big,’ she said. ‘We can never carry it.’

‘We’ll find a way,’ Natsu said.

He grinned from ear to ear and Happy nodded. Lucy sighed. It was not the perfect tree she had imagined. She went to look at the other trees, followed by Natsu and Happy who tried to convince her that the one they had chosen was the one they had to buy. After a few minutes, Lucy found it, the perfect tree. She could already imagined it in the middle of the guild. Besides, it did not exceed the budget that Mirajane had set for them.

‘This one !’ Lucy exclaimed.

‘Yeah, it’s not bad,’ Natsu said crossing his arms behind his head, unconvinced.

‘I rather the other one,’ Happy said.

‘That’s the one, I’m sure of it. Come on, let’s get the seller.’

She took Natsu by the arm and pulled him to take him with her. Once their purchase was done, they carried the tree to the guild.

‘Lucy,’  Happy said, ‘do you have a Christmas tree in your house ?’

Lucy shook her head and smiled. But Natsu could see the disappointment in her eyes.

‘No, I couldn’t afford to buy one.’

She did not want to tell them that she had spent all her savings to buy gifts to her friends. The rest of the way back to the guild was done in silence. Natsu glanced at Lucy now and then, as an idea formed in his mind.

Lucy went home. Night had fallen and the temperature had dropped. She pulled up her scarf over her nose to try to warm herself up. A few hours earlier, her, Natsu and Happy had brought the tree back to the guild and all the members had put the decorations. Christmas magic had taken over the guild of Fairy Tail.

Lucy frowned. Natsu and Happy had left the guild before she went home. She wondered where they had gone. She arrived to her apartment and heard voices behind her door. Scared that someone might have broken into her home, Lucy was reassured when she recognized Natsu and Happy’s voices. She only wished they had not raided her fridge once again. She opened the door and entered.

‘Hi Lucy !’ Happy exclaimed.

‘We have a surprise for you !’

Natsu came behind her and put his hands in front of her eyes so that the surprise was greater. He guided her into the apartment. They stopped walking and Natsu withdrew his hands. In front of her, Lucy saw a Christmas tree. Happiness assailed her and she had to hold back tears.

‘You bought me a tree.’

‘I saw that you were sad that you didn’t have one, so we went back to buy one,’ Natsu said.

‘And Mirajane let us borrow decorations,’ Happy said, holding a tinsel.

‘We were waiting for you to decorate it.’

Lucy turned to Natsu and hugged him. The dragon slayer put his arms around her and hug her tightly. This was probably the best gift she had ever gotten.

‘Thank you.’

She did not need to look at him, she could feel Natsu’s smile.

‘Let’s go decorate it,’ he said.

He took her hand and led her to the tree where Happy had started hanging the decorations.

BEAUTIFUL PAIN

Angel Juvia received a mission that she must teach Gray Fullbuster, a human, how to love and feel love. It's supposed to be easy right? No... When in the first place she doesn't know how.

Chapter One: Juvia, Angel of Love?

Love is so mysterious that no one knows why they fall in love. Why did they fall in love with somebody they didn't expect they'll fall into. Why is it so hard to tell them that we love them? Why are we so afraid to love? Why do we fall in love at the wrong time?

Juvia is looking at the couple in front of her. They are inside of a coffee shop. The aroma of the coffee is so good that only the smell of it makes you already excited and awake. She likes coffee, but she likes it better when the sweetness of milk is combined with it. She doesn't like putting cream on her coffee, she likes milk better.

She's that weird and some of her friends don't get her preferences at all. Some of her friends love tea, but her? She doesn't like it. She agreed that the coffee in the human world is good but the coffee in heaven is still the best.

Yes, heaven. Juvia is an angel. An angel of love.

Before she'll get completely taken away by the strong aroma of coffee she focuses on her job, at the couple in front of her. Like really in front of her. The couple is sitting at the back beside the window. Passing them are some humans in the hallway gossiping and talking and cars and motorcycles on the road hurrying up because they don't want to be late.

She's just on the floor, sitting with her leg crossed, and sways her body left to right. The woman, base on the records she received is 25 years old named Alisha Grace. She's an intern at a big company of toys. She's pretty cute, with her green eyes, small nose pouty lips, and dark brown dyed hair, you would think that she's in her teens. On the other hand, the opposite sex human on her right is aged 38, named Mark Elios. He's one of the managers of the marketing team of the same company Alisha is working with. By glancing at him, you would know that he's stressed because of the bags and wrinkles you can see on his face. Seems like he's thinking a lot these days. Maybe something happened between the two?

Enough! She's getting bored! These two are just wasting her time! Why can't this woman just tell him what she wanted to say!

Finally, as if the woman heard her thoughts started to talk.

"You must be curious why I called you here, Mr. Elios," Alisha said as she sipped her warm americano.

"I was surprised that you texted me early in the morning. It was around 6 and just about the time I wake up. You told me to meet at our favorite place. You even ordered espresso for me, the coffee that I want every morning. You must know very well, Alisha." Mark smiled at her.

"This is the place where we always meet, though this is kinda far from our workplace, this is the only place where we are free to meet without others knowing it." Mark glanced at the window and looked at the people outside.

"I agree" He looked at her and notices that she's nervous and wanted to say something.

"What do you want to say, Alisha?" He looked at her eyes and took her left hand with his right hand and caresses it. "You know you can tell me anything" He gently pressed a kiss on it.

"I, I just want to say that I am very grateful that you're helping me at work. That even though I'm new and made a lot of mistakes you remained patient and taught me things. You also comforted me every time I am down and when some of my co-workers talk a pot about me, you're there to protect me." She looked at his eyes and then avoid it. It made him smile, he just found her cute.

Juvia on the other hand is getting irritated. The female human is beating around the bush. Why can't she tell him everything so that her mission will be now all clear and then finally she could get her cup of coffee!

"You see, the reason I called you here is that I want to thank you and say sorry." Mark's smile faded and looked at her with curiosity.

"Sorry? For what, dear?" Alisha took her hand away from him and clasp her hand under the table and rub her thumbs together.

"The truth is, I called you here to break up with you, Mark."

Finally! Juvia cheered! Why is it so hard for her to tell it? Usually, some humans she encounters just said like it's nothing.

"It's just, it's so hard for me to keep things going now. I don't think, this is right and I think we shouldn't be together." she continued. As much as she wants to look at him, she can't because she's scared.

Mark changed into a hurt expression. He can't believe what she said. It just doesn't make sense. Why?

"Did I do something wrong? I mean is it because of the coming promotions? Did I tell you, right? You'll eventually become a regular, just trust me." He can't understand. As far as he knows, he gave her anything. For those 4 months they've been together, he played the role of a good boyfriend.

"It's not about that." tears are forming in her eyes. "It's not you, it's just-"

"Please don't give me that cliché breakup line." He slammed his hands on the table and gave her a sarcastic smile "I can't believe you can just let this go."

"I am so sorry. I just don't want to hurt other people." she tried to reason out, forcing herself not to tear up "This is just so wrong"

"Why?!" He is getting mad, he can't understand. They like each other, isn't it enough? "Don't you trust me? What's wrong with liking each other? Is it because I'm older than you? Because I'm your boss?"

"You don't understand because you only think about yourself! I am scared, I am scared of what will happen if they'll find out that we're dating. " she raised her voice, good thing they're at the back and only a few people are at the cafe.

"I've made my decision, I am breaking this. I have enough, I also want to quit."

Alisha took out an envelope from her bag and placed it on the table. She stood up and looked at him one last time.

"Don't ever think that I also like you. All of them were lies, I'm just using you." She looked at him one last time and turn around and walked away with tears in her eyes.

Juvia looked at Mark, who's still shocked at what happened. She sighs. Every single time, every time a couple breaks up the one who got left behind is the most vulnerable. She's curious why the other human is crying too tho.

She has to call the other Angel of Love, Mirajane. She's the matchmaker. Mark Elios needs a new match.

And her? She's the Angel of Love, the angel of the heartbroken. She can't further introduce herself cause seems like she's got a lot of work to do.

She can't wait for this day to end and have her coffee.

Ah yes, another fanfic. I'll just post chapter one but I don't know when is the next update. I'll focus on this after my smau. I'm also sorry for some errors.

Gray is appearing in the next chapter.

I really love how gray says "You're cold" and "Plus, the real one is crazier" beeeecause the juvia he knows has a warm embrace, and the juvia he knows is 10 times crazier than that and how gray looks so proud of his precious baby��� ALSO i can't stop thinking about the line "because juvia is gray-sama's right?" I mean she is the woman in the depth of his heart so what if that line is also a fact in the depth of his heart, hmmm?👀 I mean gray always claims that juvia is his like "..something i care about because your mine" & "and then i swear i'll make her mine". This boy really came a long way😢💙
