Hi! I was wondering if you or your followers could help me find a fan-made GO comic from a couple of years ago. I can't remember the artist's url and searching tumblr hasn't got me anywhere (surprise surprise). I think it's a 6-panel comic in which Aziraphale and Crowley are making love and in the heat of the moment Aziraphale calls God's name. She appears and Crowley has to hide under the bed. God asks why Aziraphale is so distressed and he answers that he's just had a nightmare, to which God replies that he should probably make sure there are no monsters under his bed. It was very funny and I'm pretty sure I even reblogged it but it's been a while. Thank you!
Hiya! :) Here :). (yeah, tumblr search is... Crowley-made :D, I googled 'good omens monster under bed')
I'm so curious how filming in Scotland will work. They'll be there for months, won't they? Without breaks to be home?
Hiya :), I don't know (ask Douglas or Neil :)), but they did a break during the S1 filming I think :). Also perhaps mini-breaks? (with proper testing and all) Not all actors are needed during all scenes :).
random but i love how your header and pfp have crowley and aziraphale on opposite sides
Hiya! :) Hehe, thank you, that's because in this pic it's actually Aziraphale as Crowley on the left and Crowley as Aziraphale on the right (it's from the deleted scene when they meet just after their trials in Heaven and Hell) - so in fact Crowley and Aziraphale are on the same side in both, but they bodies are not :).
Has David T and Michael Sheen played gay characters in movies? Do you know the names of those movies?
Hiya :), I think that Bright Young Things with Michael and David, hmm, I don't think that him playing a gay serial killer in Des is what you are asking for, I'm afraid I don't know their full filmography. Perhaps someone can help in the comments? :)
And would you know how audible works, basically? I so want the upcoming audiobook 🥺
Hiya! :) Very happy you like the blog, thank you ❤.
I am not very familiar with it but I think that you log in with an amazon account and treat it like any other online shop and then you can download the book :). But according to HarperCollins, it's going to be available also on Apple Books, Google Play and Kobo and Neil said that there is going to be a CD, and I think that there will be also other options, we just have to wait a little bit for all the shops to put in on their websites :).
"Another Place" is my absolute favorite scene from Good Omens (the series) and I had a curious thought, what made you decide to change it from the novel's version (which was the centered text bit where Adam waved his hand and changed the world)? I love both versions, but I love the series version more because it's comforting to me and quite beautiful; I just wanted to see what made you change it. Much love!
I changed it because I didn't think it would work for the TV show as written. Mostly I was trying to dramatise themes that were there in the book but in prose it works because we're jumping inside people's heads and employing typographical tricks and suchlike. On TV, I wanted to literally put Adam between Aziraphale and Crowley, and have them set up what he needed to do.
And I felt I needed it to be a little more climactic than the version in the book as well. I didn't want people ever going "What just happened? Is that it?"
I don’t know if you’ve seen the third episode of Doom Patrol in season 3, but I would literally give an arm and a leg for Ty and Sebastian to have their own show together as the Dead Boy Detectives. No lie.
Hiya! :) I haven't seen it, but it isn't difficult to believe that Ty Tennant is wonderful in it :).
Do you know, when Sheen and Tennant played each other's characters in the trial scenes at the end of Good Omens, did MacKinnon first have each of them observe the other playing their own characters in the scenes, or did they each just wing it and get it right anyway?
We filmed those scenes at the end of the shoot. They knew each other's performances well by then.
