remember when i started a "what if" fic before their show came out of what if Bucky and Sam were assigned a Newly Superpowered Teenager to raise and train together, and it was basically if you took the "Found Family" trope and stuffed it into a fun-filled adventure of Sam and Bucky finding out what it's like to co-parent a teenage girl? Yeah, haha, I miss this and tbh the REAL Falcon and Winter Soldier show failed to live up to my expectations lmao bc I loved This particular idea of Mine so much lol :')

More Than a Sidekick

Summary: After the events of Endgame, Fury tasks Bucky and Sam with teaching a high school girl how to control her new abilities. To protect their cover, Bucky and Sam become her foster parents. Learning how to control her powers is definitely the priority for Amanda Stone, but so is homework, the biology exam on Tuesday, obtaining her driver’s permit, and getting a date for prom.

Can Bucky and Sam survive raising a teenage girl? And will they gain more than just a sidekick? Will these three unlikely people become the family they all need?

Been a while (like, years) since I wrote a MCU fic and I’m kind of nervous because I def don’t keep up with the films Or TV lol but this story has been on my mind of a while and was so fun to play around with. Only a prologue has been posted yet tho :) Big Thanks to @kentuckybarnes and @astrid-goes-for-a-spin for encouraging me to post the story!! <3

This story is like–mostly going to be domestic fluff but hopefully a satisfactory plot too haha

Pietra (name pending) Maximoff ((kinda) daughter of Wanda and Vision, I imagine she was accidentally materialized (as like a ten year old) from their combined power/memories sometime after the events of wandavision) and Morgan Stark in their late teens. Morgan takes after her dad in more than one way, a genius, inventor, philanthropist, and a womanizer with an affinity for strawberry blondes (of which Pietra is one). Pietra doesn't quite think she can trust the girl who goes through girlfriends faster than outfits, but said girl sure is persistent ;)

She eventually caves and the two date and get engaged, but Pietra calls off the wedding bc of something Morgan does as the leader of the new Avengers, and while the two do still love each other, breaking up right before they were going to walk down the aisle does put them at odds with each other for a while,,

Some older art of this au (left: Morgan bringing two (strawberry) blonde models to an event to try to make Pietra jealous sometime after they broke up. (Right: a little kissing in mid-air is a cure-all i hear ;P)

My two oc's, Freyjr and Kharhad 🥹from one of my original stories that I'm actually running a poll on whether i should write it or another story first go vote now!

The story starts on an island empire, a melting pot inspired by Mediterranean cultures. Kharhad is crown prince of the current royal line, while Freyjr is the daughter of a northern admiral who now serves Kharhad's family. She and her family hail from a northern country heavily inspired by Scandinavian Vikings.

Due to a recent but long history of war between the island empire and this northern country in particular, many who are aware of Kharhad's intense crush on Freyjr are quite disapproving of the potential match, as those of northern descent are often mistrusted or disliked in the island empire.

Kharhad is a beefy nerd who drinks his "respect women" juice daily--and is quite the catch, if only he could stop acting completely awkward and shy and like a bumbling buffoon around Freyjr, maybe she'd notice that he's totally in love with her😭 (she does actually kinda know haha he's not exactly subtle with his feelings 😉). I'd say he has the energy of a himbo but he is probably too academic to qualify as one technically speaking 🤔

They're two of the main POV characters in the novel. The other two are Phasmus, Kharhad's best friend, and Princess Mhessa, Kharhad's younger sister who covets everything her brother has and wishes were hers: His status as heir to the islands, how well liked and respected he is among their peers, and of course, even the affection a certain northern lass has for her older brother 😏

Please help/vote! Which Webnovel Premise should I write and serialize first?

So, I have two (New Adult) story ideas, and I can't seem to choose which one I'd like to focus on first 😆🤔 (I'm very eager to do both, but I need to manage my time effectively and that means not taking on too much on top of my webtoon lol). I most likely would be writing as serialized webnovels

STORY IDEA 1: (Loosely Based on a previous webnovel I started for a Tapas competition and then decided to scrap bc I wanted to rework the story and characters). "When two best friends go backpacking together, they get kidnapped into, and subsequently separated in, the Fae Realm. One young woman finds a rescuer in a wealthy and powerful female fae, while the other finds an unlikely friend in a socially scorned fae with a dark history." A tale of fae politics, romance, and history.

What makes me excited about this story: Involves a sapphic couple as the main romance, and I've done/doing a TON of worldbuilding to try to make this fae realm different than your usual ballad, while keeping all the tricky fae mischief you're used to ;)

STORY IDEA 2: "Four friends residing in an island empire must contend with their newfound magic powers, as magic leaks into their world for the first time in centuries, threatening not only their safety, but the world as they know it." Involves romance, set in a historical-inspired setting, quite a few queer leads, and a bunch of dumbasses that have to figure out how to save the world lol

What makes me excited about this story: I've literally had this story idea for over a decade, but always felt nervous writing it bc it's so "grand" of an idea. I've drawn the four main characters before (see here and here)

Anyway, I've been struggling with which story I should focus on first, and thought I'd let y'all tell me which story idea intrigues you the most??

does anyone have any cozy games to recommend?

Preferably on switch or PC, as those are the consoles I have :) I've never gravitated towards playing games in my life ever but i'm intrigued by the concept of cozy games, and wanna experience/play some :D

So far I've played animal crossing, Disney Dreamlight Valley, and Palia.

I'm particularly interested in games with cool/immersive world building and storylines.

RPG recs in particular would be cool, although i'm intrigued by the idea of visual novels too (as well as any other game type that's cozy and not just a farming sim), and romancable characters is a plus, but not required!

a story idea of mine that I hope to fully flesh out one day :>

thinkin' about some MG Graphic Novel ideas I have,, and about these two girlies that become unlikely friends in one of the story ideas I have :) (not a historical graphic novel, but more fantasy/historical inspired as it takes place in a fantasy/magical world that is loosely based on ours but y'know, has literal magic)

Probably upper MG/Young YA? If I had to choose an age group that this story was aimed for :)

Basically the premise is: The blonde girl (name pending) travels to a magical Eastern/Chinese-inspired country with her rich (Evil) father, and befriends the daughter (also name pending lol) of said country's emperor. Shenanigans ensue :) Also... young love??

some old (though I sketched the last drawing today) of a webcomic idea I had a few years ago of modern Greek gods. While not exclusively about them, it centered a lot around Hades and Persephone :) (they’re not related in the comic lol, i think Hestia, Hades, Poseidon, Zeus were siblings? but the other siblings ended up just being friends and/or just not related in the comic). It was super fun to draw and plan, but then I found out about lore olympus so I scrapped the whole idea because I figured there was no way my idea could possibly hold up against that one lol :’) but regardless, it was a fun story while it lasted! There were a ton of cute moments planned for Hades and Persephone (pictured at the end) 💖
