last night i hosted a game night with my friends and long story short i accidentally asked the new addition to the group if his friend (who dated the worst person i’ve ever had the tragedy of experiencing) if his “taste in women was a form of self harm” and told him “if he was feeling suicidal there are resources and people who can help him, he isn’t alone”

I think I just witnessed the softest interaction between two straight boys that I have ever seen.

We were taking a quiz, so the classroom was quiet. One boy went up to turn in his answer sheet, and on the way back he fist bumped this other boy, and then sort of patted him softly on the head. No words exchanged.

My Ben Platt Revelation

I just realised when Ben Platt plays the main character in shows/musicals 

they're always the friend of a dead guy.

In Dear Evan Hansen he played the friend of Connor Murphy, and in The Politician he played Rivers friend. Except, in The Politician he was actually friends/lovers with River -

BUT in both the other main male role (friend/lover) always ends up committing suicide. 

Also, in both shows/musicals the two main males are thought to be gay or at least somewhere on the LGBT+ spectrum, and shipped together!! (coincidence? I think not)

This is my Ben Platt related thought of the day,

I finally managed to pull together my cosplay for Dear Evan Hansen for day 4 of AX. My friend and I decided to take a more theatre-style approach to these costumes seeing as DEH is a Broadway musical, rather than trying to cosplay the actors themselves. It was shocking to see how many people actually recognized my character!
