Your friends knew the two of you were probably never going to get on, but they never wanted to seem like they were picking sides, so they're inviting you both on the camping trip at the end of the season.

"Oh for gods sake."

You're late, a work meeting overrunning and you're about to turn back around and do the four hour drive back to London when you see who you're in a tent with.

"I'm not sharing with her." He mutters, arms crossed like a toddler, his bottom lip sticking out.

"You have to mate, we don't have any more tents." Ben’s shrugging as you both groan, everyone else was paired up with their girlfriends, leaving you and Mason to the tent alone.

“At least it’s big. I’ll take one room you take the other.” He’s frowning as he throws his bags into the tent, the two of you unable to look at each other as you get settled in.

“G’night Y/N.”

You’ve all had a few drinks around the bonfire, Ben slurring a goodnight to you and Mason before he zips his tent up, everyone’s smirks as they’d hurried off to bed meant you and Mason were forced into each other’s company far too early.

“What was that?!”

He wasn’t expecting you to get jumpy, a hint of a laugh as he watched you, looking over your shoulder at even the smallest of noises.

“No, Mase it’s not funny, I heard someone.” You pout, eyes filling with tears as the nickname slipped from your lips.

“Just get into bed.” He mutters, not over the moon at the thought of sharing a tent with you for a week.

“Yeah, night then.” You grumble, pulling your jumper tighter around your shoulders as you get into the sleeping bag.

But you can’t settle, eyes wide with fear every time there’s a noise, trying to tell yourself the rustles are just people’s tents as they get comfortable, but your heart is pounding in your ears, chest getting tighter as you listen to Mason snoring.

“Mason? Mason? Mason please I-I know you hate me.”

It’s just about light, you’ve spent the entire night jumpy, unable to settle or calm down.

“Y/N?”

He can see the shake of your hands from his own sleeping bag, sitting up as he looks at you properly, teary eyed and shaking.

“Get in.” He murmurs, he couldn’t deny how attractive he’d always found you, soft smile on his face as you curl into his body. “What time is it?”

“About four, I’m sorry I just couldn’t get to sleep, I was scared.” You whisper, and he’s shaking his head.

“Should have come and got me sooner.” He murmurs, hands playing with the ends of your hair as you grip his shirt in your fist. “Get some sleep, okay?”

And none of your friends are expecting to find the two of you curled up, still asleep at midday the next day, Mason had woken up at some point and put a pillow over your heads to make sure it was still dark, nobody daring to say anything about it until you both felt comfortable enough to talk.

Ahhh I just thought of this like right now cause I was thinking of an embarrassing story of mine so what about a lifeguard AU so I was thinking lifeguard y/n but it would work with a footballer as well so if y/n was the lifeguard I think that she should be watching all the people on the beach and then the footballer and his friends come onto the beach and eventually seek help finding a ball or something and the footballer checks y/n and tries to get to know her but she’s playing hard to get

If the footballer is the AU where y/n and her friends are having a fun day at the beach doing things until her friend gets stung by a jellyfish and needs some help so she goes to the lifeguard tower and goes get the footballer and he sees her coming over and helps her (I haven’t really thought of it I just like the AU)

Both of them are lifeguards the footballer is new around so y/n helps him learn the basics and trains him on how to be a lifeguard so he’s always with her and always sees her in her swimsuit and he finds her very attractive

i was thinking of lifeguard au's yesterday as some episodes of baywatch was on the tv

1 - i love the playing hard to get; Like imagine her knowing he has the hots for her as she kept on noticing his eyes glancing over to the lifeguard tower she was on and she found him attractive too but she doesnt want to be 'one of those other girls' but she ends up inviting him to this party the locals where having - (hes on holiday) - and they just talk the entire night and end up fucking in the lifeguard tower

2 - YES THE CLASSIC JELLYFISH STINGING - and the reader is so awkward in asking cause she finds him cute so she kinda just says: "can you piss on my friend." and she goes bright red whilst he chuckles and ask her what she means before she takes her to her friend and the man examines her friend and look up to the reader and gives her a teasing look as he says: "luckily i dont have to piss on you.."

3 - all i could think about was the baywatch film XD - like reader just be saving someone like giving cpr (mouth-to-mouth) to someone and the man be stupidly thinking 'wish that was me' before he gets back into reality by being hit in the back of the head by another life guard to help everyone else. and jealous man when he sees tourist flirting with her knowing they only like her for her body whilst he knows-knows her and knows she worth a lot more than just good looks

One where the reader has autism and gets embarrassed about stimming in public so he stims with her so she isn't alone and he sleeps with a weighted blanket for her. tysm just thought this would be good, also dont worry about getting facts wrong idm. stimming in the shorthand is volitary movements or vocalism to help self stimulate a person with or without autism, this can include hand/arm flapping , humming, whistling, head banging and rocking ect. bye

When you first met Ben you were very good at masking your autism so when you finally told him after 3 weeks of going out with him he was surprised yet very supportive. The next time you visited his house books about ‘dating someone with autism’ and ‘autism ; fact and myths’ books etc could be seen on his bookshelves and you could tell how much effort he put in because he loved you.

Fast-forward 3 and a half years and you had moved in together. He could read your emotions and sense an outburst even before you could, he knew what you needed when experiencing a sensory overload (space), made sure he had all of your safe foods filling the cupboards to the brim, sleeping with a weighted blanket in your shared bed to help you sleep. But there is one by far that he does that sets him apart from the rest.

It started on a busy summers evening in the park you were having a picnic date but the only thing was the fact that the whole neighbourhood had decided to have a picnic as well that day. And you didn’t like people staring at your stims and you were flapping your hands quite noticeably so he joined in, flapping his hands and arms around without a care in the world, diverting all the unwanted attention towards himself. Both of you bursting out with laughter.

later that evening he ran a lovely bath for you, no bubbles, and he was downstairs playing FIFA with Madders, Mason and Kai. Suddenly you felt the need to do your head banging stim against the edge of the bath, Ben heard this from downstairs. pulling the microphone on the headset to his mouth and speaking urgently.

“sorry lads, that’s me dont for tonight, same time tomorrow !” he said throwing the headset on the floor and rushing to your side not that you needed his help, you could stop if you wanted it just felt nice and was calming. He slipped his hand under your head in an attempt to dim the force as not to hurt you.

“Baby, i know it feels nice but can you try not to do that one because its not safe hun.”he said gently.

“I am sorry” you replied thinking he was angry with you.

“dont apologise my love, i tell u what ,when you are out of the bath i can get you some pillows to do that to ?”

“yes please” you replied.

That night he laid in bed with you , holding you softly whilst you stimmed in a safe environment. him leaving trails of gentle kisses along your jawline lulling you to sleep.

A/N : please don’t come at me , i tried to portray stimming as something y/n doesn’t need help with however i dont have autism yet stim everyday constantly and sometimes i need help with it otherwise i will get overexcited! hope this is what u wanted anon and please keep an eye out to see if @blueathens posts her version xx

You were watching the Brighton vs Chelsea game with Reece's Mum and Dad. You didn't take your eyes off him the whole game , he was playing so well , he even had a chance to score. You were so focused on his performance, you saw him go down , the look of sheer agony written across his face as he was 'limped' off the pitch. Pushing through the crowds, his parents not far behind you, as you went to the entrance of the tunnel he had just exited the stadium through. you showed the steward your pass and he let you and his parents,, through. Having spent so much time at Stamford bridge you knew where he would be, in the physio room. Before you entered the room you could hear him wincing in pain as the physio tried to locate the issue. Upon hearing his discomfort you swiftly moved to sit on the edge of the bed he was leant back on. HIs parents sat on the two chairs in the corner of the room watching the event unravel. The physio did what he needed to do whilst you caressed his cheek with your thumb whispering sweet nothings into his ear.

"It's okay , darlin' " "Just let him do what he needs to do."

When the physio said you could go home he hobbled to your car using his crutches. You opened the door for him to get into the passenger seat, you then went round the back of your car to the drivers seat and set off for home. Roughly 10 minutes into the drive he placed his hand on your left thigh sweetly caressing it.

"Y/N?" He asked.

"Mhm?" You replied.

"I love you more than the sun loves to shine." He spoke, that hazelnut sparkle ever-present in his eye.

"I love you too." You chuckled at his attempt to be poetic. "A for effort hun."

A/N: I really dont like this , lol. It's short , vague and idek what else but this is the best i have got anon! it helps when i have fantasised about the player before but i am always up for a challenge even if (as shown in this case) it fails.
