basically, i think the general rule of thumb is: if someone REALLY wants the blood that’s inside of your body, and they’re like… a vampire, or a dracula, or some sort of mansquito, then that’s probably okay. a dracula and a mansquito are made for removing things like blood and swords from inside your body. that’s basically fine.

if something wants to get at your blood, and they’re, say, some kind of murdersaurus, or maybe a really big frog, that’s where the problems start to arise. a really frog is not made for removing blood, and your blood knows this, which is why it is so vehement about wanting to stay IN your body instead of coming out. 

unfortunately this will not deter a really big frog, because a really big frog is full of things like prizes, and value, and quite a lot of hatred, and it would REALLY rather like to replace any and all of those things with your blood, and basically by any means possible.

Could you do a combo flag of selenian, solarian, and stellarian? I get if because of the symbols it's a no /gen

Selenian, solarian, and stellarian combo flag

The yellow, black, and grey colors are the same across all 3 flags, so they’re just combined. Then there’s one green, purple, and orange stripe/color for stellarian, selenian, and solarian.

As for the symbols, the circle moon is for selenian, the lines outside are for solarian, and the large and small stars are for stellarian. The symbols were made to be a bit different so it wouldn’t look like other combination alignments (like I separated the solarian lines and stars).

what does it mean when the star/sun/moon is fading

and where would be on this chart a boyflux? as far as i understand it would be solarian + singularian + aurorian? (because aurorian is genderfluid right?) but is there like a name for it

Fading I assume you're referring to the illustration of colors in the chart? They are like, multigender/combinations (multiversian). And there's no name specifically for genderflux identities. However, it could be interpreted as within demigender/anterian spectrum. Singularian is no alignments at all. But it's been observable some terms combining singularian or voidarian with other alignments. Boötian is the agender alignment.

Oberonian is a term for voidarian and solarian; Arcturian is boötian and solarian.

The flux part can always be there, no need to specify. But you can always coin a specific term. And yeah, some use genderfluid encompassing genderflux, so aurorian may fit.

I edited the top stripe of the novarian flag so it contrasts better with the middle one! no hate to the original ofc, it was just bugging me that the two stripes looked like the same color.

Galactian alignment system xenic (atmospherian) flags! Regular xenic alignments here.

They are all made in the same style as the original galactian alignment flags so they match.

Names of the flags.

atmospherian | waxian | wanian hafian | umbrian daenixian | duenixian | synodian

I decided for the demi flags, they would be darker and more saturated than the other galactian flags. I hope this makes them more unique and distinguishable from the others.

Personally, I really like these. Desaturated is sort of the look for the galactian system flags, but I think saturated looks quite good too. Especially hafian and synodian, just, so pretty.

vermil, pewt and cerul (in the pallet system) alt flags!

respectively, vermil, pewt and cerul refer to masculine, neutral and feminine presentation and can be used in combination with any gender, though the original purpose was to use them in combination with genders from the galactian alignment system but it isn't necessary.

I didn't like the ones that there are already, and I also wanted to match the format of the flags to the galactian alignments flags.

Annulian was coined by @uncommongenders, who has been deactivated, to join the Galactian Alignment System, to combine the alignments of solarian (masculine), stellarian (neutral) and spacialian (xenine).

The original flag was created by Tumblr user @astraldomination!

On January 25, 2022, wanting a flag that fits with the rest of the Galactian System, I decided to redesign and recolour the annulian flag. So here's my version on the flag!

I mixed the dark pink/purple from the spacialian with the darker green of the stellarian flag to make the first stripe; and I mixed the dark pink/purple from the spacialian flag with the darker orange from the solarian flag to make the second stripe. The pale yellow, grey and black stripes are all from the original set of alignment flags.

cohesive guide to the galactian alignment system

i discovered the galactian alignment system just a couple of weeks ago, and it immediately clicked with me in a way no other gender alignments have. the beautiful flag designs are what inspired me to start this sideblog, in fact.

however, while learning about this system, i've found that information about it is rather scattered, sometimes unreliable, and even contradictory. so, i put together a carrd that summarizes the system as concisely as i could manage (with sources), and a google doc listing every alignment in the system that i am aware of (also with sources).

hopefully this will help someone learn more about this beautiful and fascinating system! please let me know if you notice any problems or have any suggestions :)
