See, that's the thing I never understood about letting your dog run around without a leash. Let's say your dog is the most friendly dog in the history of ever, that's not going to save them if they run up to the worst, most aggressive dog on the planet. If both dogs are leashed the owners can call out and ask if it's alright for the dogs to interact. If one owner knows a Situation will occur they can warn the other and the two dogs can be lead away from each other. If the "friendly" dog is allowed to approach the other dog freely then they very well might get bit by the other dog.

This is my daily struggle, I had so many arguments with people with off-leash dogs (in a mandatory leash area!!!). Thanks to this behavior I'm struggling with Kim being anxious/aggressive with other females as she often gets involved in unpleased interactions with free females while on leash. And every single time that I ask for the dog to be at least recalled, I'm being called names and insulted of course.

Also 9 out of 10 their dog isn't really that friendly at all.

Did any of you actually have a week of taking care of a fake baby in high school? How many of you took care of a doll and how many took care of a sack of flour?

I always see this set up on TV, but never actually experienced it in school. What makes it even weirder is I know my school had at least one specialized baby doll because I saw it sitting on top of a cabinet. Never saw it in use. Just a random baby staring out at the classroom from on high.

(The classroom it was in was used for my Early Childhood Development elective, in which I was one of four students taking said class and the only one that was not currently a parent/pregnant.)

You know, that Mythbusters post legitimately changed my life. Before seeing it, I had exponentially more guilt and stress about not being able to sleep, which of course, further exacerbated my inability to sleep.

Now, every time I wake up about three am, knowing I have to get up at 6.45, instead of stressing and panicking about how my day is going to be sleep deprived and miserable, I just tell myself 'Time to activate Mythbusters Protocol' and lie there with my eyes closed safe in the knowledge that I am measurably reducing later feelings of exhaustion.

And when this happens, about 70% of the time the reduction of guilt and stress means I actually do fall back asleep, so all in all instead of getting only three or four hours sleep, I get five to six and a half.

Which y'know, major improvement in health and energy.

the humble "like" is oft mocked despite what it does for us. "like, three people" is a vastly different statement from "three people". "and i was like 'what the fuck'" is vastly different from "and i said 'what the fuck'". i love you "like" and anyone who says you make people sound stupid will be killed on sight

Read a few manga where the premise is the protagonist succeeding despite having the weakest power in the world's power system.

Expectation: Protagonist uses clever thinking and loopholes to get out on top despite having less to work with.

Reality: Either the power was always actually OP and everyone other than the protagonist is a massive idiot or the protagonist doesn't actually have the weak power, just something similar and more powerful.
