Your phos picture is super pretty do you remember what brushes you used to draw it? Or how you painted it? I'm curious to know it's so pretty

yeh it's a photoshop brush!

I just sketch out the character and have two layers basically, background layer and character layer.

Then clip the shadow layer and block out shadows on the character and the clothes.

Then block out the light parts on a seperate layer.

so now you have dark grey + grey + white basically

then, lock the layer transparency and apply colours to it

then I decide I hate the colours/hues and move the sliders/filters/curves around in photoshop until I decide it looks good

then I scribble over the top of it (probably after a bit of merging of everything because photoshop isn’t too happy if you use up too much RAM)

then I flip phos upside down and use the brush to erase part of it (this is done in a masking layer because it's easier to fix later on than just outright deleting it)

apply mild blur at the corners
