On the subject of orwell and his rancid anticommunism, his flagship title "animal farm" is not simply a "satire of the USSR"; it is a full and total repudiation of the idea of proletarian rule at all. The entire book depicts the workers as dumb and incapable and easily manipulated by leaders. This is a fully aristocratic view of the proletariat and entirely anti-proletarian. This should be no surprise to people who are familiar with orwell's opinions and past, including the fact that he has "never been able to dislike Hitler" (actual quote, March 21, 1940) and that he was a colonialist cop.

Disabled trans girl in need of some short term $ help

I lost my job on March 1st and have yet to get something new, but my former employer just got me disqualified from unemployment benefits. I need to make like $850 by may 6th to cover my portion of rent, I'm gonna be attempting to donate plasma this weekend and next weekend but it won't be enough in time, it'll just make the goal easier to reach.

Hey ny'all, I hate how this is becoming a monthly thing, but you all know what libertarianism does when it actually holds power, imagine that town where they got eaten by bears but it's a whole country. I am a disabled trans woman and thus underemployed (and i'm lucky for that), I live with a cancer patient and we can't afford to buy meds, like at all, much less my half of hrt that is in shortage, and we have a bunch of legal fees to pay after my dad's passing that there's no way we could cover normally.
