Hi Natalia, thank you for the message and the lovely compliment. I will definitely be bringing them back. As much as I love AO3, its not always the friendliest site when you want to edit a large work. With how little time I currently have between work, studies and our very energetic daughter, it's simply proven easier/quicker to wipe my fics and re-upload completely from scratch. So edited versions will be back up asap, though I can't give you a specfic date. I hope that helps. 😊

I just saw that your works on Ao3 have been taken down when I got on to keep re-reading This One's Heart again. So I panicked a little and started looking around your profile around and saw where you said you're going to be re-writing and such!

I'm so so excited to see and read all the new and updated work you'll put out! I'll likely start in on reading Just like Fire that's on your Ao3 tonight!

I completely understand if not, but I was wondering if you happen to have a pdf file or such of This One's Heart? I absolutely Adore it and have read it many times since I discovered it a little while back. And I would love to have a copy of it just so I can continue to read it more, it's a wonderful comfort story for me.

Unfortunately I don't keep my works in pdf format, however nothing of This One's Heart will be lost. Things are being added to the start of the story (and Nihlus finally gets to survive this edit), as I'm sure you'll notice when you get to "I'm Not Dead", which is where the original start of This One's Heart will be included.

I will be breaking up the story into sections (mostly by game), as having a single fic with over 270 chapters made editing a little frustrating at times! But they'll all be linked under the series title of "This One's Heart is Pure".

Hello Garnet; this is MoonShadow from AO3. Was wondering why you took all your old works down today. I love rereading a lot of them and was in the middle of rereading This One's Heart again. Yes. I'm planning a large overhaul of many of my works and AO3 doesn't make it particular easy. I've found it less time consuming to have a completely blank slate when re-working stories. It's a gamble, as some if my work had nearly 100k hits, but I wasn't happy with my content. With working full time and studying, wiping my works to start from scratch is the easiest way for me to quickly re-post my new/edited fics.
