the swiftie to swift-hater pipeline is something so interesting because I've been on both sides. I've been the person who defended her and ignored any criticism about her. and now slowly seeing all the signs of her just being another rich white person blinded by money and fame and completely disregarding human morals. the several versions of one album only having a single special song even before they are released, because you KNOW your insane fanbase will buy it. the utter silence on the genocide currently going on. complaining to her fandom that they didn't let her date a racist imbecile and not doing anything to prevent the oncoming hate on joe alwyn. why? because she profits from that. maybe at first it annoyed her that people said she only writes about her exes, but after years of media speculation and manipulation, she has made it her brand. she doesn't care who is BURNED at the process because at the end, there are people to defend her. the whole promo being so obviously about joe or matty is so gross, when joe supported her during her darkest time. instead of trying to make her name as something else, she has owned it. all this album says is she doesn't wanna listen to ANYONE anymore, and not in a "ignore the haters" kinda way.
