Pain in his eyes, lips trembling. “Who will love you now, Dumbledore?” didn't mean that he stopped being loved by Gellert, but that the pact, the physical form of their love, was destroyed; that Albus broke the greatest proof of loyalty that Gellert has ever done for anyone. It wasn't about Albus not being loved by anyone, it was about Gellert being deprived of loving the only one who he ever loved, and loved him back.

Dumbledore's love language is words of affirmation, he was always open about what he felt, words were always his strong suit and his greatest wealth. Grindelwald's love language is clearly physical touch. He didn't give in or showed vulnerability the entire movie- until Albus touched his chest. That's when he stopped attacking and broke completely in addition to trying to get closer. The touch hit him hard.
