Generally I try to be the most polite when answering to people on this blog, keep a good conversation and all.

But In case your tone might indicate that you haven’t browsed to much in my blog I do fucking know that Masami Kurumad AND Shiori Teshirogi are Japanese and have already had in length conversations about this in this same blog that you found my post.

In fact children being named after a number or a color isn’t a big deal, however had you read the post that yourself decided to leave a comment you would see that my post is precisely about the context of the name together with the way Defteros was raised, after all you must remember that a common occurrence during his childhood was being beaten to almost the point of death for merely existing.

Defteros by himself isn’t a bad name, but together with the context of how the child was raised raised it becomes a very bad name for a human being, specially since there is a hint that Defteros and Aspros just learned to associate the number two as Defteros name since was the only way he was called by everyone else.

Also the part about Aspros name was just a curiosity that I feel was worth sharing.

And to finish in your comments I don’t discuss personal shipping preference unless it is to discuss how and why we might like or dislike a ship politely, and I do treat posts about differently based on with kind of relationship I talking about.

The world motherfucker if you hadn’t realized by my last post discussing Aspros and Defteros relationship can be used interchangeably whit Asshole, I might just not be the best to express the whole intent of my ideas since English, you see, is my second language, but if you want we can bring the conversation to Portuguese so I might be able to express myself better.

When you start to think Defteros is the most shit name someone can have, not because is a dumb or a bad name but because it’s not a name to begin with, is a word Defteros is the Greek word for second, put that with the fact that he was saw as lesser than his brother for being the second twin and lived in Greece, this implies that Defteros never receive a real name he just grow up knowing that he was the second kid and tha he was expected to be evil because of that, this kid was mistreated ever since he was born and he didn’t deserve that.

Also Aspros is not a good name either since is the Greek word for white and it implies that he was called the white kid, but Aspros deserves to have a shit name because he was a motherfucker, especially whit Defteros.

My point isn’t about sibling inferiority or superiority complex, something that I quite understand (middle child here), and how is important who is the older and younger brother, but that the way Aspros turned to treat Defteros was pretty much an asshole move specially since he used fucking mind control to force Defteros to do something that he was totally against, or how much read he was to let that dead Ares warrior that he mind controlled kill Defteros just because, and considering just how much Defteros cared about Aspros the whole fucking time.

I rebloging because this person is so fucking right, there’s no good reason to change the bronze saints names since they are all Japanese.

Also I wanna add that Saori was raised in Japan, but not only that she was adopted by Mitsumasa who was Japanese.

And since she needed to be hidden from Sanctuary growing up it would be actually pretty smart to raise her like an average Japanese girl (although of a higher social class) and have her have an Japanese name.

I can’t stand Saori being called “Sienna”, who in the fuck re named the characters and why?

There is no Magnus, but Hyoga.

There is no Long, but Shiryu.

There is no Nero, but Ikki.

There is no Shaun, but Shun.

They are all Japanese (except Saori, as of birth), what’s the damage with letting them have Japanese names?

I don't have much experience with a redemption arc for Saga that's actually somewhat fluffy. I'm so used to just write him being guilty and miserable that I had a hard time with this :') I also don't have experience with this pairing (it's one of my rarest ones, lol), so I tried my best at it.

Well, it doesn't matter. Let's see... I had different plans when I first started writing this, to make it less of a story, but my writer instinct kicked in. Maybe it's not even fluffy enough, sorry :( My brain took the Hades route and I couldn't stop it.

Athena cared about Saga, enough to hug him when he chose to end his life. Enough to shed tears for him, more than she shed for anyone else. When he came back, wearing a Surplice instead of his gold, Athena didn't get fooled by his insistence that he was there as an enemy. She knew he was kind, that Saga didn't have a evil heart. She knew he deserved better, he deserved more, he deserved love.

And he received it. His redemption, even if he didn't believe it, was already done. Athena had already forgiven him his misdeeds. When Saga bent the knee, cosmo exploding around him, expanding more and more as the forbidden technique manifested, Athena knew she wouldn't raise her hand in punishment.

He was brought to her feet, broken, his eyes the only thing left truly alive of his body, yet she didn't break him down even more. Instead, she came closer to him, a fond smile curving her lips, and hugged him just like she did the day he gave his goodbye. It was a time of war, and blood must be shed for it to be over, but Athena was happy to have seen him again. Was happy that he could see her, know that love was still able to touch him.

The gold dagger weighed in her hands, but soft lips brushed on Saga's forehead, giving him the blessing of a goddess who believed. She redeemed him without words, just gentle touches, even as she pressed the blade in his hands. It was a gentle, soft love. When Saga leaned into her, Athena hugged him close with a smile, petting his head with a gentleness that strayed from her definition of goddess of war.

His redemption didn't need more than that, for him to believe it.

My distrust on Saga and Kanon being fully human didn’t start in origin, it intensified there.

My distrust started when Saga toke full force of ten saints attacking together and walked only with a fucking scratch in his head, when Kanon was stabbed by a god attacking with full force another deity and walked away like it was a normal Thursday night.

When Saga had two Athena’s exclamations collapsing on him with an inferior armor and already wounded and was the first bitch to get up, and when Kanon already wounded and with broken fingers literally killed Radamanthys with no armor.

That’s why I doubt how much they are fully human because they are the only people almost as resistant as Seiya, and Seiya have the hardest head ever.

Looking at Saint Seiya and the Fandom is really strange, at least for me because:

The Anime/Manga: these child soldiers are killing each other brutally because gods said that they need to fight for a cause they have been told to believe at a very young age, they are like literally gauging their eyes off because of a cause or their companions.

The fan content: oh and then this characters are transformed in five year olds and they do dumb kid stuff and drink chocolate milk because some god is bored. Or then is these two love each other and everyone is happy and marry and stuff and they have lots of babies.

Seriously I swear that the most popular fics I found almost always are in that vain... and I don't know if its related to where I am and what I research of if it is the fandom at large.

Meanwhile I put violence, gore and insanity as tags of may main fic about Saga and Kanon and someone genuinely says that they don't see how it fits in the universe.

And I am like did you skipped the chapters where people literally gouge their eyes out or that half of Saga's dialogue was with himself?
