But walks in and is very impressed

Keeps talking your ear off about how well it’s designed

“I really love the layout - they definitely did their research.”

“Who was on their product management team? I should give them a call sometime.”

Even impressed by the food.

“Hey can we hire these people for Wayne Enterprises?”

“Um…”

Ends up talking to the manager about buying the store

“Hey, are you guys interested in selling this by any chance?”

“Bruce!”

Just let the Swedish man make bright happy furniture in peace ok

Probably collabs with the guy and makes a Bruce Wayne furniture collection

🌻 dick grayson

Is obsessed

Feels like he’s on a movie set 

“Honey, dinner is ready!”

Yeah sure like Dick Grayson even knows what a spatula looks like

“Oh wow you didn’t burn the kitchen down this time”

Will sit on every single bed

Loves to imagine every room is somewhere in your apartment together

UNTIL HE GETS TO THE DESKS

“HOLY COW THIS DESK CAN GO UP AND DOWN”

Keeps playing with the buttons 

“UP AND DOWN AND UP-”

“Tim it’s a desk”

Definitely buys it

“This is so much healthier than sitting all day - omg Bruce needs one in the batcave!”

“Cool can you find one in black?”

jesus tim if you want to be healthier stop drinking all that coffee and actually sleep

Loves the computer chairs

Goes around the store with his hands clasped behind his back pretending he’s in a museum or art gallery

Kind of confused why everyone is so obsessed until he gets there

Calculating the area of all of the furniture and wall space

You’re really lost

s u m m a r y: You meet Damian Wayne after he attacks your boyfriend.

“Really ticks me off alter all those lectures he gave me about using protection,” Dick seethed, wincing as Alfred pulls the thread back through his skin. 

Grinning, you put your hands on his shoulders while your head rests on his. “Well, if it helps, I won’t be having a demon spawn anytime soon.”

He snorts. “Thank god for that.”

A cry escapes his mouth as Alfred pushes the needle back in. “Are you all right, Master Dick?”

Cockily, he leans back in the chair, his bangs fluttering as he lets out a huff. “I took the cut, I can take the stitch.”

“Maybe you need more anesthetic.” You face your head toward the voice. A young boy is leaning over the railing, a scowl painted across his face. Dick notices your puzzled look, all while shooting daggers in the kids direction. 

“And maybe you need to go f-” 

“Master Dick!” Alfred exclaims as you gawks in alarm at him in turn. Sheepishly, he smiles at you as you continue to sputter on the limited words coming to you at the moment. “Dick!” you choke out in astonishment. “Dick Grayson! Kids are supposed to love you!”

“Yeah well, not this one!” Dick pouts, gazing into your eyes. 

The boy jeers at the two of you. “Maybe you should remember who the blood son is.” 

As you begin to take a closer look at the kid, your jaw drops. The hair, the jaw; it’s all coming back to you now. 

“Damian Wayne?” Wailing, you playfully punch Dick on the shoulder several times out of frustration. “Why didn’t you tell me?”

“Ow, Ow! Jesus, woman.” Dick moaned, rubbing his arm. “Bloodthirsty more like it!” Dick scowls at Damian, before turning back to you in a gentler tone. “What’s wrong, babe?”

“Talia doesn’t exactly…like me,” you hiss under your breathe, at a loss of a better word. 

Before you had joined the Titans with Dick, you hadn’t exactly had the easiest childhood. After Selina took you under her wing as a child, you did some pretty impulsive jobs, and one of them involved Talia. The task: stealing a sample from the Lazurus pit. 

You nearly lost your head for that one. 

Damian begins to walk down the stairs, analyzing you as you begin to fidget under his gaze. Finally, with his arms folded behind him, he acknowledges you. “My mother told me about you.”

You let out an awkward chuckle, smiling sheepishly at the kid. “Yeah, me and your mom aren’t on the best terms.”

“You were a criminal.” Damian adds. Dick shifts in his seat, his gaze softening as he looks at you. 

“She’s not anymore.” 

Damian squints at you a moment more before nodding respectfully. “No, actually it’s quite impressive. My mother mentioned since she fought you that she’s learned many new moves.”

Now it’s Dick’s turn to gawk as the boy reaches out to give you a strong handshake, which you return self-consciously, half expecting the boy to flip you over at the last second. 

Dick huffs as you wait for Damian to leave before facing him, laughing with excitement; your heart luminous with warmth as you sit sideways on his lap. 

“Oh, come on.” You drone, ruffling Dick’s hair. “He’ll come around.”

Dick snorts, shaking his head. “Sure.”

BONUS: 

Watching from the Batcomputer, Bruce gapes at one of the camera monitors for way longer than he should. He isn’t one to get surprised easily, but his son had barely been here for an hour and he’s already warmed up to one of Gotham’s biggest ex-con and ex-criminal ( though he would be lying if he said he didn’t keep a closer eye on you than you thought ). 

“It appears, Master Bruce, that Master Damian has already warmed up to Miss Y/N.” Alfred commented, walking up to the brooding man. Bruce huffed as in agreement, the corner of his mouth lifting just a fraction as he watches his oldest son speechless for what seems to be the first time in his life. 

“Yes.” He smiles. “It appears so.”
