I adore your writing style. Not too simple, not too complex. The language used in your works remind me of my own use in wording. I'm glad I was able to find something that brought me such joy. Please, keep up the good work, but don't forget to take as many breaks as needed.
afshjdahsdfl;a I don’t deserve any of those nice words ;A; My fics are confusing and have barely any plot and are weird but I’m just so happy to be writing again in whatever capacity I can. Thank you so so soo much for reading them :’D

Tumblr media
Pairing: Child!Razor & Child!Reader Genre: Light angst/fluff Word count: 780 words Summary: Today was a rainy day. Normally, Razor would spend days like these hiding out in a hollow tree with other wolves.
But today...today was different. Post date: January 16, 2022
Tumblr media
Today was a rainy day. He had neither seen lightning nor heard thunder, so normally Razor would spend days like these hiding out in a hollow tree, with two or three other wolves or wolf pups all huddled for warmth.
But today was different. Today, he heard a sound he had only heard from himself until now. Even then, he hadn’t made this sound in many, many moons. It scared all the prey and lead predators to him.
Today, as he was making his way back to his pack, Razor heard crying.
His Lupical all heard it too, and they all dispersed save for one. This Lupical was about to grab him by the scuff of his fur, the one Andrius gave him because he couldn’t grow much of his own, when the cry suddenly sounded much louder, much closer.
Razor curiously stuck his nose up in the air, but only succeeded in inhaling a drop of water. He coughed it out. It was hard to smell anything with all this rain. The ground below him softened, making it difficult for his knuckles and knees to get traction.
The remaining Lupical nudged his side with her snout, driving him away from the sound, but the sound had found them first.
His Lupical reacted immediately, standing between him and the stranger with her teeth bared. Her growls reminded him of the absent thunder, and times when he got scolded for biting too hard during play.
When Razor took a peek at the stranger, something in his mind stirred.
He saw the image that he had always seen in pond and lake waters.
The stranger had fur and arms that were similar to his, but the stranger’s legs were different. The stranger was small but tall, like a tree, and the stranger’s legs were straight, not like Razor’s bent ones. The stranger’s hands were also not touching the ground.
And the stranger had stopped crying.
Razor took a few steps forward. His Lupical shoved him back, but he persisted. When he reached the stranger, he circled their legs, trying to learn something from their smell.
He whined. No luck.
“Please help me.”
Razor tilted his head. The stranger was looking at him in the eyes and was making strange noises. It hadn’t sounded very different from his whine earlier. From this close, Razor could see that the stranger was shaking.
He pushed his forehead on the back of the stranger’s legs, and he continued to do so until they reached his favorite hollow tree. The Lupical who stayed behind for him was there, but this time she was growling at him. Her pups were inside, and she wouldn’t let him pass.
Razor herded the stranger to a different, smaller hollow tree. Now the stranger had started to become smaller; they were walking like him! The realization made his heart thump even though he wasn’t playing or hunting.
He hadn’t let himself be distracted for long. He shook the water off his body and huffed at the stranger until they did the same. There were no grass and no leaves in this hollow. Both of them were cold. Razor had never been very good at digging, but he tried anyway. He made a shallow hole just big enough for the both of them, then bit the scruff of the stranger’s neck and pulled them towards it.
The stranger started to cry again.
Razor quickly lay next to the stranger and lent them his tail, the longest out of all his Lupicals’. But it was so long that he had started to trip over it many moons ago, and Andrius had tucked it between his skin and his fur. He covered the stranger as best he could, but they still wouldn’t stop crying.
Razor let out a few whines of his own, not sure what he should do to help the stranger. All he could do was lay closer to them and nuzzled the start of their tail, something Andrius always did to him whenever he was distressed.
He felt claws on his chest and couldn’t help but flinch, thinking that the stranger was going to scratch him, but they didn’t; the stranger was…biting his fur? With their long paws? He considered it a good sign when the stranger slowly started curling into a ball against him, and a while later the stranger’s cries stopped completely.
Today was a rainy day. Normally, Razor would spend days like these hiding out in a hollow tree with other wolves.
But today he napped soundly next to a strange pup who was just as strange as he was, and the strange pup napped soundly next to him.

Chat: Still Life (Albedo Voiceline Series)
Tumblr media
Pairing: Albedo/GN!Reader Genre: Fluff Word count: 415 words Summary: “What a view...How about a quick break so I can sketch this beautiful scenery?” Post date: December 30, 2021
Tumblr media
“What a view...”
The awe in his tone stopped your tracks, snow squeaking beneath your feet as you turned around to face him. His eyes were fixated on something behind you; a landscape you hadn’t seen because you were too busy looking down, trying your best to navigate this treacherous terrain.
A quick look over your shoulder was enough to determine that yes, indeed, the view was gorgeous. The sunset on the west illuminated the vast expanse of land and painted colors onto the snow—splashes of pink, orange, purple, and yellow.
“How about a quick break so I can sketch this beautiful scenery?” Even as he was saying that, he was already doodling on his book, most likely sketching an easel for him to use. Seconds later, your assumption was proven right.
“Sure, I don’t mind,” you let out a sigh of exasperation that could only come from fondness. “Let me just find a heat source and—”
“Oh, no. You stay right there.”
“I…what?”
He was drawing something else now—three things, actually. One of which he set at his easel, one next to you, and the other just a short distance away.
“Your sketchbook is a very handy tool to have.” You heaved yourself onto the stool and watched as he lit the torch.
He chuckled. “Alchemy is a very handy tool to have. Now stay still.” He sat on his chair and disappeared behind the canvas, beginning his artwork with light, gentle strokes.
“But if I sit here, won’t I be in the way?”
Albedo leaned to the left of the easel to face you once more. “In the way of what, exactly?”
“The”—you gestured wildly behind you—“scenery?”
It wasn’t often that Albedo laughed at you; in fact, you could confidently say that he had never done that.
He was laughing heartily right now, though still in his refined demeanor. You weren’t sure whether to be offended or amused.
“You are the scenery,” he said after he managed to collect himself. “An integral part of it.”
...oh.
“Now stay still.”
This time you complied, and the sketch turned into a full-fledged painting that now hung in Albedo’s campsite.
You were sure it was there as a source of amusement for him, because every time a visitor commented on the redness of your cheeks in the painting, he had never failed to smile at your quick dismissal, blaming the cold, even as your face was steadily turning the same shade.

Tumblr media
Pairing: Kaeya Alberich/GN!Reader Genre: Fluff, bit of Angst Word count: 804 words Spoilers: No Warning(s): Recent passing of a family member (mentioned) Summary: After a long day of riding around Mondstadt to deal with any nuisances, the cavalry captain would arrive at your doorstep with assorted gifts. You, in turn, would sort out his strands, them having been brutalized by the wind. This was your routine. Post date: December 27, 2021
Tumblr media
“I like it when you brush my hair.”
You paused, comb still tangled in a particularly stubborn knot. Kaeya sat on the floor, back leaning against the copper bathtub as you opted to perch on the edge. It was a rare sight for most people, Kaeya with his hair slicked back and face in full view. His eyepatch was drying by the open window, he kept his right eye firmly shut in a permanent wink.
This was your routine. After a long day (and sometimes more) of riding around Mondstadt to deal with any nuisances, the cavalry captain would arrive at your doorstep with assorted gifts. You, in turn, would sort out his strands, them having been brutalized by the wind.
Kaeya looked at you over his left shoulder in response. “What?”
You shook your head and resumed, dipping the comb into the bowl in your bathtub. The homemade mixture had a strange color, but it worked.
“Just that you don’t usually say things…like that.”
“Things like what?”
You didn’t need to see his face to know that he was wearing his trademark smirk.
“Personal things.”
“I say personal things all the time.”
“You rarely mean them. You say them to tease other people.” You sneaked a glance at his face, wondering if your comment was a step too far. Thankfully, he seemed contemplative and not offended.
“I do like it when you brush my hair—”
“I’m glad.” Sensing that he was about to say something you probably wouldn’t appreciate, you decided to cut him off.
You should have known that it wouldn’t deter him.
“—but what you use to condition my hair smells awful. Did you get this concoction from Albedo? Is this a part of his experiments? I didn’t know that he had a vendetta against me—”
You yanked the comb downward, both to stop his monologue and finally detangling the knot you had been working on for the past twenty minutes.
“It’s my mother’s recipe,” you said after a period of awkward silence.
“Oh. Well. Your mother must have been a genius—”
“She was.” The bite in your tone silenced him. You sighed. You and your mother had had a wonderful relationship… You only had each other to rely on for the longest time.
But talking about her still felt like you were peeling a scab.
It took another thirty minutes for you to finally reach his scalp. Judging by the loll of his head and his efforts to keep it upright, Kaeya was struggling to stay awake. You sighed, feeling bad for giving him a hard time after what must have been a very long day.
I did try to stop him.
“I’ll be done soon,” you whispered. “I just have to rinse it now.”
He hummed in reply.
“Lean back.”
He did so languidly, as he did everything in his life. You gently rubbed his now-soft strands between your fingers, working your way down to the very tips. When you were done squeezing the excess water out with a dry towel, you spoke again.
“Bring some valberries back with you next time.” That seemed to catch his attention. He shifted to face you, searching for—something? You weren’t sure what exactly. Once he was satisfied with whatever he had or hadn’t found, his trademark smirk returned.
“Will that help with the smell?”
You scoffed. “Maybe, but don’t hold me accountable if your hair turns purple. Valberries make excellent pink dye.”
“Don’t you think I would look good with purple hair?” It was a bit odd to see him wiggle both of his eyebrows. Not to mention impressive, seeing as his right eye was still closed.
“Yes, very handsome,” you laughed. “Master Diluc would have a heart attack.”
“All the more reason to go for it, then,” he chuckled, grabbing a spare eyepatch from his pocket and looping it around his head.
“Wait!”
His movements jerked to a stop.
"Your hair…it’s not dry yet, so…why don’t I make you some tea? Just until it dries?” You twiddled your thumb. This wasn’t part of your routine; he had never stayed longer than he needed to. In fact, there were many firsts, today: The confession at the start, of him liking you brushing his hair. The brief mention of your mother.
You asking him to stay longer.
“I wouldn’t mind that.” This time he let out a genuine smile, and you responded in the same way.
The few minutes it took you to put the kettle on was the same amount of time it took him to pass out at your dining table, head cushioned by his arms.
You didn’t mind. His presence was comforting, and it made you realize how lonely you had been since your mother’s passing.
You should invite him to dinner, one of these days.

Where I Can’t Follow [3]
Tumblr media
Pairing: Venti/Female!Reader Genre: Angst/Fluff Word count: 650 words Spoilers: Yes (Venti’s backstory) Summary: The first time she met him, he was a playful breeze, and she was a tiny sapling. Post date: October 26, 2021
[1]  [2]  [3]
Tumblr media
The cold came soon after Barbatos’s departure. It was concerning to see the leaves that she had worked so hard to grow fall one by one. The harsh wind spared none, blowing all of them from her branches until they lay around her, brown and dry.
The kits carried some of her fallen leaves into the hollow, where they dug deeper and deeper into the ground. She helped them build their home by moving her roots about, creating bigger and safer tunnels for them to explore. She confirmed that it was indeed much warmer under ground than above.
However, when white water began falling from the sky, each cold drop stinging her bark, she had trouble corralling the foxes. Unlike her, they seemed to have fun playing around in the piling white water, and sometimes even slept outside. Every day, they traveled farther and farther away from her. She feared that one day they might not return.
Like the birds.
The family of golden finches had disappeared the moment she realized that the nights were getting longer, leaving her songless. Not a single one had come back to perch on her branches since her leaves fell. The only sounds she was able to hear lately had been the yips of the kits and her own rattling branches. Even the water had stopped making noise, turning solid in the cold.
The last to leave her were the flowers.
Though—like her—they weren’t able to uproot themselves and leave her vicinity, whatever had made them stand proud was gone. Now, each one of them bowed low, both red and green turning brown and gray and black. They spun no longer, despite the gale being stronger than ever.
She didn’t understand. Barbatos hadn’t mentioned that his gifts would be leaving with him, or that the cold would take them and the sun away.
“Barbatos…?” A warmer breeze started to encircle one of her branches before finally taking the form of a wisp. It was tinier than even the kits when they first arrived, but had huge glowing eyes.
Barbatos’s voice came from the creature. “You are distressed.”
The air was frigid, but something inside her sparked to life once more. You curled your longest branches towards the wisp, hoping to warm them too. “What is happening? Why have the birds left? Why is the water so still even though the winds are so harsh? Why are the flowers not spinning anymore?”
It did a twirl then slowly floated upwards, careful to avoid the harshest of Andrius’s winds, before placing a short wing on your bark. “The birds have left to find a warmer place. The water is frozen. And the flowers…They are dying.”
“Dying?”
“Soon, they will no longer be here. They will wither like your leaves and will become one with the ground. They will no longer be alive.”
“They will leave too?”
“Yes, eventually.”
Dying. A new word she was currently struggling to comprehend. The birds who had left were alive. The flowers were leaving her right now. Barbatos had left and was alive.
What would happen to the kits?
She didn’t know enough words to describe what she was feeling, but it hurt even more than seeing her leaves fall, more than the cold surrounding them, and more than Barbatos leaving. She disliked it. It made her want to grow faster to cover the sky, to stop the white water from erasing even the grass.
One of them was making its way to a flower, the last one to bow and turn brown. She violently swung a branch at the droplet, making the flower tremble from the gust. “No…”
“…(Y/N)?”
The branch lowered and touched a petal, flicking it lightly in hopes that it would turn.
But it stayed still, like all the others, and the heaviness that had bubbled inside her burst forth.
“Everything here will live forever.”

The Mondstadt Precinct [2]
Tumblr media
Pairing: Police Captain!Kaeya Alberich/GN!Reader Genre: If ‘bland’ were a fanfic genre...mixed in with some Police!AU and Modern!AU XD Word count: 570 words Spoilers: None, but there will be one regarding the history of the knights later. Summary: You’re the new recruit. Today’s your first day. What could go wrong? Post date: October 8, 2021
[1]  [2]
Tumblr media
Who knew the future you feared would make its appearance just minutes later.
“Your first assignment is to go on patrol,” he smirked, thumb jabbing at his chest as he announced the next words proudly, “with me!”
“…what.” Your head was already starting to throb.
“Don’t look too excited, now.”
“I…Fine—I mean, understood,” you sighed, slipping into a more formal approach to hopefully distance yourself from this man. “Once I finish the tour of the precinct, I will promptly find you so that we could—”
“The tour’s been rescheduled to Wednesday since the other recruit is in the hospital right now,” he motioned you to follow him with his fingers. You tamped down your frustrations, not wanting to lash out more than you already had, and dragged your feet. “Speaking of, do you know what happened to him?”
“Ben—Officer Bennett slipped and hit his head on the side of a fountain while walking here. The doctor said he should be monitored for the next 24 hours, and that he should rest at home for an additional day.” There had been no updates from him since then—which reminded you that you forgot to silence your phone. You did so quickly and moved your bag strap to your other shoulder to ease the discomfort. Captain Alberich had a very sharp chin.
“I didn’t give you time to settle in, did I?” His finger was pulling on the strap and slipping it off before you could say anything against it. “At least let me carry this.”
“…if you insist.” You learned that you had to pick your battles with your new supervisor, or else your temper would come into play again. Really, he was nothing like his predecessor.
The place you went to patrol ended up being the farmer’s market, where almost every stall owner greeted the captain with unbridled enthusiasm, followed by a shower of free produce and the occasional offerings of daughters and sons. By the end of it, he left with two paper bags full of groceries and, behind him, a string of broken-hearted suitors.
“Wow,” you commented, peering down at your own paper bag, filled to the brim with fresh vegetables. Maybe it was the friendliness of the sellers that made you lower your guard against him, or maybe it was his unexpected celebrity status that contradicted the mental image you had of him… You couldn’t help but ask the question that had been swimming in your mind. “If you’re so popular, why don’t more people apply to the police academy?”
“Hm?” He looked down at you, half a honeycomb toffee sticking out of his mouth. Before you could even begin to wonder where the other half was, sweetness coated your tongue, the edge of the hard candy stuck on the left side of your lip when it was unceremoniously shoved into your mouth.
You could feel the headache growing as your body tensed from holding back your anger. Does he not know the concept of boundaries? Personal space!?
“Oh, that,” he continued, choosing to be oblivious to your reactions. “They do. Men and women from all over the country, actually. They don’t pass the polygraph test.”
You huffed, your opinion of him lowering every minute. Stubborn. Conceited. Narcissistic.
“Would you look at that? It’s time to go back to the precinct!”
Rude. Dense. Demanding.
He was really, really nothing like his predecessor at all.

Good Night (Xiao Voiceline Series)
Tumblr media
Pairing: Xiao/Female!Reader Genre: Light angst...? Word count: 927 words Spoilers: No Summary: “Go. I’ll be here.” Post date: October 1, 2021 Note: This is the part 2 to Hello :)
Tumblr media
“Xiao!”
His name echoed like a bird’s song in the mountains even though it shouldn’t have, and the sound was nestled in his mind, soft down feathers and all. The voice lured him down from his rooftop perch, his feet leading him right to its source despite the dim lighting.
“I’m sorry for being late. The walk took much longer than I thought.”
He gazed at your form, concealed by shadows yet lit by moonglow. Your unmarred clothing. Your untouched hair.
All exactly as he remembered.
“We have never set a meeting time. It is impossible for you to be late.”
You giggled, letting your back float to the banister with ease, wanting to rest against it as you often did when you visited.
He tugged you by the wrist before you succeeded, a disapproving look plastered on his normally-stoic face. “The wood is old. I have told you countless times.”
“Just testing,” you replied, a wide grin plastered on your face. “I am sorry for not visiting sooner, though. And for not bringing anything with me today. It’s unlike me to forget.”
He released his hold on you only to cross his arms. You couldn’t help but think that he looked every bit a peeved cat.
“You should not bother with that. I do not require offerings.”
“Not ‘offerings,’ silly,” you laughed. “Gifts!”
“I do not require those either.” So he said, as if he had never accepted and subsequently devoured any of the dishes you had made.
“Let me cook you something, at least. I wonder if the new owner would allow me to use the kitchen.”
The scowl on his face melted away, and in his eyes swam something you couldn’t decipher. “…You have seen her?”
“Earlier. She didn’t return my greeting. I wonder if she disapproves of loiterers like me.”
“Pay her no mind. She has no concept of her surroundings when she is reading.”
She wasn’t reading, you wanted to say, but something about the topic was bothering the adeptus. You didn’t want your first meeting in a while to start with an uncomfortable subject. Whether Xiao and the new owner had a good relationship or not was none of your business.
“How have you been? It feels like eons since we’ve spoken. Though I’m sure it passed in the blink of an eye for someone like you.”
“There goes your flair for dramatics.” He let out a minute sigh, more for show than out of actual exasperation. “Some decades pass by slower than others.”
“…Are you implying that you’ve missed me?” The growing smirk on your face made him cast his eyes over the mountains. You had expected the wind to pick up, or his ears to flush red; once, while having a meal on the cliffs overlooking Liyue Harbor, he had called them “traitors.” You hadn’t been sure whether he was referring to the breeze or his ears. You still weren’t.
There was none of that today. Maybe you had lost your touch.
“Take that as you will,” he mumbled, eyes fixated on the glimmering water. You turned to look as well. Since your family had moved to Qingce Village, Dihua Marsh hadn’t changed in the slightest. It was still as expansive, still as beautiful…barring the abandoned buildings at the very edge of Cuijue Slope. A house with straw roofing and wooden sticks for walls that did little to protect its previous inhabitants from the elements.
Your old home.
“It’s strange,” you sighed, looking at the sky from east to west. “In Qingce Village, I can see the same moon, the same river of stars, and we live much higher up than we used to...” you trailed off, finding it difficult to tear your eyes away from the docks your own father had built, the same one you and your sister had spent countless afternoons sitting on, fishing and gazing at Wangshu Inn. “We’re not alone anymore. There are plenty of nice people in the village, but…”
“I have not moved from this place in hundreds of years, yet everything around me grew, and bent, and broke, and started anew.” From the glaze in his eyes, you knew that he was seeing something that was impossible for you to see—a scenery from another lifetime. “Change is inevitable.”
“It doesn’t always feel nice, though.”
“No, it does not,” he nodded. “Nonetheless, you cannot fault your father for seeking a better future for you and your sibling.”
“I know,” you relented.
Sensing an end to your conversation, Xiao stepped away from the banister and gestured for you to follow him. He led you to a set of stairs you had never noticed before, hidden at the back of the inn.
The hand at the small of your back urged you forwards. “Rest. You have had a long journey.”
“Xiao, I don’t think I have enough Mora to—”
“—the fourth floor is always open to wanderers.” He gave you another push. “Go. I’ll be here.”
“…You will?” You weren’t sure why you needed the reassurance; Xiao had never left you alone whenever you needed him. Still, there was something at the corners of your mind, tugging, scratching, demanding you to pay attention to it.
“I will.”
Dawn broke not long after you had disappeared upstairs, and Xiao returned to the top of the inn, watching the rising sun paint the still waters of the marsh. He then closed his eyes, focusing on listening to any mentions of his name or any other sign of brewing trouble in Liyue.
And he waited.

The Mondstadt Precinct [1] (Modern/Police!AU)
Tumblr media
Pairing: Police Captain!Kaeya Alberich/GN!Reader Genre: Bruh nothing happens so idk XD Word count: 447 words Spoilers: No Warning(s): Kaeya’s playful nature borders on harassment and he gets called out.  Summary: You're the new recruit. Today's your first day. What could go wrong? Post date: August 27, 2021
[1]  [2]
Tumblr media
There were many tales involving Captain Kaeya Alberich, some of which were both gathered and spread by those under his care, the patrol division.
“They say that his grandfather was a pirate, and he inherited the eyepatch from him.”
“What? No! It was his grandmother!”
“I heard it was his sister, actually.”
Those rumors easily made their way to the Mondstadt Police Academy too, where you had been just last week. It was hard to believe that starting today you would be part of the actual precinct as one of only two graduates. This wasn’t really a testament to your accomplishments, however. Being a police officer simply wasn’t as popular a career choice as it used to be.
Standing in front of the building in your brand new uniform, you quietly rehearsed your greeting under your breath. First impressions were important, after all.
You were so focused on your thoughts that you failed to notice someone approaching you from behind until they leaned over your smaller stature and whispered, “Nervous?”
“WAH!!” You jumped, almost tripping on your own foot but righting yourself just in time. The smarting pain on your right shoulder was registered by your brain a second later.
You turned around to see a person slightly hunched over, hand over their mouth. It didn’t take you long to recognize who it was.
“Captain Alberich!” Though his trademark eyepatch wasn’t visible, no one else in the city had long, blue hair (and claimed it to be natural). Part of you felt sorry for injuring him, and a bigger part of you was worried about this disastrous start to your job, but the more rational side quickly erased those sentiments. This was his fault to begin with.
“I never expected to be assaulted by my newest recruit. On the first day, no less,” he mumbled while straightening his back, hand cradling his chin. “What an…impactful greeting.”
“You brought it on yourself! I could sue you for harassment!” You blushed. If you had any remaining guilt about not apologizing, it was now gone.
“Harassment?” he gasped. “Your shoulder attacked my jaw.”
“Your breathing attacked my ear!”
That seemed to have been his breaking point, as he exploded into laughter after taking a short moment to process your words. Confused as you were, you let him have his outburst as you thought of different ways to get transferred to a different city.
“Please never change,” he said, wiping tears off of the corner of his eye with one hand and extending the other towards you. “Welcome to the Mondstadt Police Department.”
You took his hand reluctantly, silently fearing for your future and the headaches it was sure to bring.
