Sims 4 DnD Legacy Challenge!

So I got inspired to make my own legacy challenge today based on DnD classes :D

Here are the rules:

-Must complete their given aspiration in their lifetime, cannot change aspirations until you complete it, but if you do complete it in their lifetime, you may choose any other to work on in their lifetime

-Determine how many gens you want to do (min 5, max 10), then use either dice or a random number generator to determine which ones you’re going to do and in what order. (i.e. if you chose to only do 5 gens, still use a 1-10 number generator or a d10 to pick the 5 you will do in your challenge. Any repeats, reroll)  

-Any traits/jobs/aspirations that are given the “or” feature, must use the second option IF you have the pack that requires it to exist. Otherwise, you use the base game choice. If there is no base game choice, you’re welcome to substitute your own or not include that class in your generation list. 

-Recommended Lifespan: Normal

Anxiety Trait

Guys I finally revamped my Anxiety Trait!!!!! I told you I would. Damn this took FOREVER. I made this into a new whole mod too! This was made with patch 1.90 and High School Years. Should be Base Game compatible but does incorporate some features from other EPs and SPs. Hint: They hate doctors. ;)

This trait includes OCD (with multiple obsessions), Social Anxiety, General Anxiety Disorder, and may even result in panic attacks if they get stressed out enough!

So the new stuff: You can now take Xanax to treat your Anxiety! Taking Xanax will remove certain anxiety buffs (see under cut for examples) and essentially treat your sim’s anxiety problems. Note: It only lasts for so long before they will need more! You can buy Xanax bottles from the Purchase Medicine picker from the computer. I assume that came with Get to Work so this mod needs that if you decide to use the Xanax features. If you do not want to use Xanax, remove the files labeled Xanax! But it needs the Anxiety Trait to function right!

Unzip the file and place all four parts of the mod (which are labeled easily) into your mods folder!

Disclaimer:

My Anxiety trait/mod is based on my own anxiety, so yours may differ from mine as not everyone has the same anxiety symptoms. I made this for myself and thought I would share if others were interested in it. I will also be updating my depression and ADHD traits/mods (also based off of my own symptoms) later on! And a new trait/mod for bipolar coming soon.

EA Rainbow Dress FIX by Zeussim

I fixed the awful rainbow swatches in these two dresses AND added 7 new rainbow swatches to each. The preview shows the override versions of the dresses! (EXCEPT the override of the tiered one doesn't have glitter since it affected the rest of the swatches, so I've added it as an extra swatch aka the tiered one has 8 extra swatches excluding the override)

A simple Pride wedding dress recolor.

💍💖🌈 Just a very simple recolor of the updated dress. I’m really happy that The Sims team tries to show their support of LGBTQ+ communities 🏳️‍🌈, but I was not really fond of the execution of the pride/rainbow pattern dresses. So I tried playing with gradients. More options: Tuxedo and other BG pride recolors by @cosmicamos​

Not So Berry Legacy Challenge

Do you like the rainbow? Do you like the idea of playing with berry Sims but hate berry Sims? Do you want to mess around with aspects of the game you’ve never used before? Boy, do I have the challenge for you!

Welcome to the Not So Berry Legacy Challenge, a ten generation legacy with a focus on bright colors and new experiences.

Basic Rules:

Each heir must represent the color of the generation (i.e. hair, makeup, clothing), but brightly colored skin is not necessary (these aren’t actually berry Sims, that’s the joke). Of course, this is optional but a big portion of the fun.

The colors of the spouses don’t matter as they aren’t part of the challenge. Unless otherwise stated you can do whatever you please with them.

Money cheats can be used, but not excessively. Suggestion: use freerealestate for your first home, but no cheats afterward.

You may live wherever you please unless something is specified in the rules of a generation.

Every generation is supposed to complete both the career and aspiration of the heir unless explicitly stated otherwise.

Keep the lifespan on normal.

              The Sims 4: Harry Potter Legacy Challenge

Have you ever thought “Hey, how can I make my sims cooler than they already are?” We got you, man. You can now ascend to the next level of fandom with the Harry Potter Legacy Challenge. There’s really only one question, are you ready to get back to Hogwarts?

If you haven’t read (or watched) the Harry Potter series, WHY? Just kidding. This challenge is fun for everyone, not just hardcore fans! Besides, maybe playing will make you want to introduce yourself to the wonderful world of Harry Potter.

This challenge was made by me (@clovervalley) and @bumblebee-sims. We had so much fun making it, and would love to talk to you guys and see your sims if you decide to play this challenge!

Basic Rules:

Each generation is only loosely based off a character from the wildly popular Harry Potter™ series since there’s not an exact conversion from the series to the sims! We tried our best to accommodate what we felt were some of the most important traits and values of each character.

You are in no way obligated to have your heir be the same gender, race, or sexuality as the main character in each generation.

Each gen “starts” when the heir turns into a young adult, but feel free to build up their skills and complete objectives before then!

Normal lifespan, please!

Money cheats are generally frowned upon :(

Try and save all the gravestones from your heirs (and their families if you would like!) for reasons that will become evident later on in the challenge ;)

Along with fighting crime, you aspire to give your children the life you never got growing up.

Traits: Good, Hot-Headed, Family-Oriented

Aspiration: Super Parent

Career: Detective

Objectives:

Begin your life as a young adult living in a semi starter home- it’s okay to cheat a little so your house is actually decorated, but once you build it cheat the family funds to §2000!

Master the Parenting skill

Reach level 10 of the Detective career and complete the Super Parent aspiration

Have as many children as you please, but one must be adopted. (You want to give a kid just like you a chance at a happy life)

Traits: Athletic, Self-Assured, Outgoing

Aspiration: Bestselling Author

Career: Athlete

Objectives:

Join the Athlete Career (Quidditch, anyone?)

Master the Fitness and Writing skills

Reach level 6 of the Professional Athlete branch in the Athlete career before you have your first child (traveling for games takes up all your time!)

Once your first child turns into a toddler, you quit your job as an athlete and become a stay-at-home mom/dad who loves to write about sports and your adventures as an athlete

Complete the Bestselling Author aspiration

Gen 3: “Ron Weasley”

Your parents were great, really. It’s just that with one of them unemployed and taking care of you and your siblings, there wasn’t really enough money… ever.  It’s not that you were jealous of your friends, per say, you just think that you deserve exactly what they have. Your grandparent helped raise you, and they would regale you with tales of their daring detective adventures. You want to be just like them… except you want more danger.

      Traits: Jealous, Glutton, Slob

      Aspiration: Friend of the World

      Career: Secret Agent

Objectives:

Marry your best friend

Visit all the city festivals at least once on “missions”

Master the Handiness and Charisma skills (Macgyver, anyone?)

Reach level 10 of the Secret Agent career and complete the Friend of the World aspiration

So what if your parents were kind and supportive? Some people just want to see the world burn, and you are one of those people. You know you’re better than your family, and one day you’re going to prove it. This is a world that runs on ambition, and you certainly have plenty of it.

Aspiration: Public Enemy

Career: Criminal

Objectives:

Become enemies with both of your parents

Have a one night stand resulting in a baby

Never marry or have a significant other and only have one (1) child

You resent your child and ignore them whenever possible

Reach level 10 of the Criminal Career and complete the Public Enemy aspiration

Master the Mischief and Vampire Lore skills (you’re obsessed with the idea of being immortal, switch or leave the skill out if you don’t have the vampire game pack)

Drink the “Potion of Youth” once in your lifetime

Gen 5: “Draco Malfoy”

All you ever wanted was your parent’s love. If you had to be a bad person, no matter how uncomfortable it made you, you did it just so that they would pay attention to you for once. Your parent’s evil ways led you to join the business career, although you pride yourself on not always making the unethical decision.

Traits: Snob, Materialistic, Perfectionist

Aspiration: Fabulously Wealthy

Career: Business

Objectives:

Have a bad or nonexistent relationship with your parent your whole life

Hang around with the “bad” crowd as a teen, and become enemies with a nice sim (it’s your choice whether or not to make up with this sim!)

Follow in your parent’s footsteps by joining the Criminal Career, but quit at level three. You want to do something better with your life and join the Business Career directly after.

Marry a sim with the “Good” trait

Have the perfect little family with only two children

Reach level 10 of the Business Career

Master the Charisma skill and complete the Fabulously Wealthy aspiration

Gen 6: “Rubeus Hagrid”

You were always grateful that your parents were the opposite of your evil grandparent, but the world of business and bowties is not for you. You’ve always loved the great outdoors, and all the little animals that came with it. As an adult, you’ve decided to devote your life to saving animals, and you couldn’t be happier. Now all you need is a family of your own to have everything you’ve ever wanted. Little animals included.

Traits: Dog Lover, Cat Lover, Loves Outdoors

Aspiration: Friend of the Animals

Career: Veterinary

Objectives:

Master the Gardening and Pet Training skills

Have a 5 Star Veterinary Clinic before you die

Complete the Friend of the Animals aspiration

Fall in love with a scientist, but never get married. (You believe that a simple piece of paper isn’t enough to symbolize your love)

You always have lots of children and animals running around your house

Your partner disappears or dies (up to you) the day before your first child ages up into a teen due to a lab accident

      You’ve always been somewhat of a “strange” child (or so your classmates have said), but when your parent disappeared from your life for good you became even more secluded, and somewhat of a loner. Your other parent loves animals and when their partner disappeared, they became obsessed with idea of bringing them back. You would often join your parent on their quest to the mystical, and now you want to catalogue all of the fantastic beasts you’ve encountered.

Traits: Cheerful, Creative, Loner

Aspiration: The Curator

Career: Writer

Objectives:  

Reach the Journalism branch of the Writer career

Complete the Curator aspiration

Master the Rocket Science and Writing skills

Complete the Frog and Alien collections

Build a rocket ship

Visit Sixam on the rocket ship at least once

Gen 8: “Molly Weasley”

      If there was a “total bad-a**” trait in the Sims 4, you would definitely have it. As a child, you were always the one dubbed as the “mom friend”, and now, as an adult, you want children aplenty. After all, it’s practically your destiny. With your high school sweetheart at your side, you are ready to conquer the world of parenting- one diaper at a time.

Traits: Neat, Foodie, Outgoing

Aspiration: Big Happy Family

Career: Stay-at-Home Parent

Objectives:

Marry your high school sweetheart

Have at least one pet

Have four or more kids

All of your children and teens must have an A in school before they age up

Complete the Big Happy Family aspiration

Master the Cooking and Parenting skills

Gen 9: “Hermione Granger”

As one of many children, you would often sneak away from your boisterous brothers and sisters to read the newest book at the library. What could be more interesting than the latest adventures of Henry Puffer? As much as your siblings and your classmates tease you for your obsession, one day you’re going to save the world, you’re sure of it.

Traits: Bookworm, Ambitious, Perfectionist

Aspiration: Renaissance Sim

Career: Politician

       Objectives:

Complete the Renaissance Sim aspiration, but cheat/skip over every requirement that has you changing careers (You’re a one career sim!)

Reach level 10 of the Politician career in the Charity Organizer branch

Master 4 skills, what those are is up to you!

Only have twins, no other children

One of the twins dies (or disappears) when they are a teen or as soon as they turn into a young adult

Gen 10: “George Weasley”

Nature gave you a built in best friend. You would run around town with them, playing pranks, and causing mischief. You were inseparable, until an accident took your twin away. It was hard to be funny when you’d lost your other half. Slowly though, you regained your smile, and you continued to live, just as your twin would have wanted. You decided to become a comedian and bring a smile to those who need it.

Traits: Goofball, Childish, Genius

Aspiration: Joke Star

Career: Comedian

Objectives:

Every time the Humor and Hijinks festival comes to town, you have to go- it’s a twin thing

Master the Comedy and Mischief skills

Reach level 10 of the Entertainer career in the Comedian branch

Complete the Joke Star aspiration

The death of your twin left you emotionally scarred, and you don’t want to have kids and have that happen to them. (See below if you want to continue)

If you want to keep your legacy going, only have a few kids after you turn into an adult- it was a huge decision to make

Throw a huge party when you turn into an elder and invite as many of the heirs of this legacy as possible! You can do this by befriending their ghosts from the gravestones we had you save, or you can take old copies of them from your gallery. This is pretty much the equivalent of a death day party in Harry Potter :)

This challenge is only an interpretation of the Harry Potter series by us, and it’s converted to the sims so there is a degree of inaccuracy. Pretty please with a cherry on top don’t attack us if you disagree with something we wrote, if you send us a nice ask we’ll most likely respond!

If you are unable to complete some of these tasks because you don’t have the proper game pack, fret not! You are totally free to make up some rules for that gen that work with what packs you do have based on who the character is- just ask us permission first if you are going to repost a different form of the challenge on your own social media. Disney Fairy Legacy Challenge!

Welcome to the Disney Fairy Legacy Challenge! This challenge is inspired by the Tinkerbell movie series from Disney where each generation is based on Tinkerbell and her friends. If anyone knows me personally, they know I love Disney, so I decided to create a fun legacy challenge themed around one of my favorite series!

The sims do not have to be fairies (or dressed as them since this is sims 4 and we don’t have fairies…sadly). The legacy is just based on their special talents and personality.

Here are the basic rules:

Each heir of the generation must complete their career, aspiration, and their must-have skill(s) assigned to them (which represents their special talent from the movies such as Tinkerbell is a tinker fairy, so she must have the handiness skill).

You can live in whatever world you want unless there is one specified for a certain generation.

You do not have to name the heir after the fairy, but you can if you would like.

Keep the lifespan on normal lifespan.

Note: I gave each gen some favorite colors based on pictures of the characters. This is not nsb, so they do not have to dress in only those colors or live in a house of only those colors. They are just there to add some likes/dislikes to the personality.

You do not need to do the bonus challenge if a generation has one, but you can if you would like to!

Generation One - Tinkerbell

What better way to start a legacy challenge than with Tinkerbell herself. Tink is a tinker fairy, hence her name. She loves collecting items from the human world and making lots of inventions to help with the other fairies’ talents.

Aspiration: creative - master maker

Traits: maker, ambitious, and outgoing

Career: Civil Designer - civic planner

Loves the color green

Rules:

Get married and have a family with 2 children

Master the civil designer career and complete the master maker aspiration

Master the handiness skill

Must in the world of Evergreen Harbor and have at least one neighborhood green

BONUS for this generation:

Get all the Evergreen neighborhoods green

Generation Two - Rosetta

Rosetta is known to be a garden fairy who brings life to flowers and always tries to look her best. Although she loves flowers, she does not like to get dirty.

Aspiration: nature - freelance botanist

Traits: green fiend, squeamish, and perfectionist

Career: Gardener - floral designer path

Loves the colors red and pink

Rules:

Have 1 child

Get married, but you don’t find your soulmate until your second marriage

Master the gardener career with the floral designer path and complete the freelance botanist aspiration

Master the gardening skill and flower arrangement skill

Must have a garden

Generation Three - Silvermist

Silvermist is a water fairy who is friendly to everyone she meets. Something she is guilty of is finding pleasure in rumors and gossip. Oh, the tea she must hear!

Aspiration: location - beach life

Traits: child of the ocean, insider, and cheerful

Career: conservationist - marine biologist path

Love the color blue

Rules:

Get married and have a family with 3 children

Master the marine biologist path in the conservationist and complete the beach life aspiration

Master the fishing skill

Must live in the world of Sulani

BONUS for this generation:

Your heir can be a mermaid

Generation Four - Fawn

Fawn loves animals. It’s her joy in life is to help all the animals feel loved. Fawn is also one of the caretakers of Mother Dove, so she is family-oriented Although she has a soft side, she is also known to be a prankster.

Aspiration: animal - a friend of the animal

Traits: animal enthusiast, goofball and family-oriented

Career: Own a vet clinic

Loves the color orange

Rules:

Get married and have a family with 3 children

Own a dog/cat

Have a 5-star vet clinic

Master the vet skill

BONUS for this generation:

Have a small farm with 1 cow/llama shed and 1 chicken coop

Generation Five - Iridessa

Iridessa, or Dessa as her friends call her, is a perky and energetic fairy whose special talent is light. In the movies, her talent allows her to manipulate light where she can give lightning bugs their glows or even create rainbows! She is also known to be a bit worrisome and sometimes panic at times.

Aspiration: wellness - inner peace

Traits: paranoid, perfectionist, and loves the outdoors

Career: painter

Loves the color yellow

Rules:

Gets married as an adult and have a family with 2 children

One child must be jealous of the other and have trouble keeping friends/relationships (this will be your heir and make more sense of the personality gen 6 will have)

Master the painter career and wellness aspiration

Master the wellness skill

Generation Six - Vidia

Vidia is known for her ability to be a fast-flying fairy. She prides herself on claiming to be the fastest fairy there is and does believe that anyone else can be on top. She can be secretive too.

Aspiration: deviance - chief of mischief

Traits: jealous, ambitious, and self-absorbed

Career: criminal (whichever path you would like)

Loves the color purple

Rules:

Have 1 child (can be adopted)

You will never get married because no sim meets your standards

Master the criminal career and chief of mischief aspiration

Max out the mischief and fitness skills

Generation Seven - Terrance

Terrance is one of the most important fairies in Pixie Hollow as a Dust keeper sparrowman. He wakes up early every day to deliver pixie dust to each fairy. Terrance is very friendly, kind, and thoughtful.

After watching their parent live a life of darkness and a lonely life, enter generation 7, the complete opposite of their parent.

Aspiration: friend of the world

Traits: outgoing, cheerful, and loves the outdoors

Career: gardener - botanist

Loves the color brown and white

Rules:

Get married and have a family with 2 children

Generation Nine - Queen Clarion

Queen Clarion is the queen of Pixie Hollow. She has lived longer than any other fairy or monarch in Pixie Hollow. Queen Clarion’s main priority is to oversee the preparations for the seasons changing. She is very loving but can be firm when she needs to.

Traits: ambitious, family-oriented, and proper

Career: business - management

Generation 10 - Zarina

For our last generation, we meet Zarina, a dust-keeper and pixie dust alchemy talent fairy. She is also a pirate! She is very skilled in her talent and seeks adventure.

Aspiration: knowledge - archaeology scholar

Traits: adventurous, ambitious, and bookworm

Career: none - Like Zarina, your sim seeks adventure, so your sim will seek to dive deep into the ruins of Selvadorada to find treasure and artifacts to sell for money

Rules:

No children, this is the last generation

UNLESS: if you want a bit more fun, there are 3 extra fairy-inspired generations, so this generation will need to have at least one child

Generation 11 - Clank

Clank is a tinker fairy. Even though he may not be the brightest fairy in Pixie Hollow, Clank is very helpful, even he does get a bit clumsy at times. He is a friend to all.

Traits: clumsy, maker, and outgoing

Career: engineer - mechanical

Loves the color green and white

Rules:

Have 2 failed relationships before you get married and have a family with 2 children

Generation 12 - Bobble

Bobble is another tinker fairy. He loves to celebrate the little things in life and spark up conversations with friends. Bobble can definitely be described as the “nerd” of tinkers.

Career: tech guru - start-up entrepreneur

Loves the color green and blue

Rules:

Get married and have 2 children

Generation 13 - Periwinkle

You have made it to the end of the Disney Pixar Legacy Challenge! And what a better way to end the challenge than with Tinkerbell’s twin sister, Periwinkle! Periwinkle is a frost fairy, so she loves the cold. Like her sister, she also loves collecting things.

Aspiration: nature - the curator

Traits: family-oriented, cheerful, and loves the outdoors

Career: art critic

Loves the color blue

Rules:

No children, last generation

No marriage, single pringle life ;)
