Honestly, if I was an author, I wouldn't want to interact much with the Fandom right now either. It's kinda super toxic right now with the ship war, and I would feel really uncomfortable posting anything for fear of being attacked by people who would probably attack her for any decision she makes. Hopes necklace was given to her by her family and it holds the Mikaelson crest. I'd imagine it means quite a bit to her, its literally her connection to her dad after the painting they drew together burned in her room when Josie tried to destroy her letter regarding her feelings.

Does anyone remember what Hope’s necklace means and where she got it? There must be a reason Landon grabbed it.
