I had been wanting to try Glossy Pops for awhile now~ and once I saw the Kissed collection for Valentine’s Day~ it was instant love.
These lip balm/lip gloss duos make me feel like a Magical Girl! Doesn’t it look like a transformation rod?! You pop open the balm, kiss it, and transform! For added power, you apply the gloss! Ah I think this is perfect...

Lotions for Chicken Skin✨

Chicken skin is caused by a couple of things—a build up of dead skin cells, lack of exfoliation, an excess of the keratin protein in the skin, and dry skin in general. Some might see these reason and think, “ah okay, so I just need to use tons of exfoliating products to get the skin out!” but please reconsider! While exfoliating is necessary, the best method I’ve come across is to keep your skin hydrated~! By treating a common cause of chicken (dry skin/dry skin that causes skin build up/dead skin), it will of course lead to less chicken skin— and a less need to use harsh exfoliating products on your delicate skin!
💎Hada Labo Rohto Hadalabo Gokujun Hyaluronic Lotion Moist
Hyaluronic acid is naturally produced in our bodies!
It’s purpose to to hold on to moisture in our skin and other tissues~
MUST use on damp, clean skin!
Why? It works by attracting water to the surface of the skin & holding on to the moisture there!
Therefore, if used on dry skin, it will take moisture from the lower layers of your skin, thus drying it out.
🤍My review: I really love this. Hada Labo is a cult favorite of Asian beauty. This NEVER feels sticky on my skin unlike other hyaluronic acids I’ve tried before. Sometimes after showering— especially when using my Salux— my skin feels as if it’s parched, but after putting this on, my skins feels so plump and rehydrated! Like a lip balm for the skin that dives deeper than the surface— it really preps your skin for other products to perform even better— while being beneficial in and of itself.
💎Frei öl Skincare Oil
Jojoba oil, Sunflower oil, Wheatgerm oil, & Lavender oil are all natural precious oils known for their hydrating and healing benefits for the skin.
These oils also help heal scars and blemishes— as well as make your skin supple, bright, healthy, and glowing!
Vitamins A & E help to reduce pigmented spots and further sooth the skin
🤍My review: They say this is the bestselling skincare oil in Germany, and I found out about it from a Chinese app! So word is definitely getting around— and that’s why I wanted to try it— and I definitely was not disappointed. It’s an oil that feels so light yet still very effective. I feel like it also makes my skin glisten with hydration! Truth be told, I’m not really a fan of the scent of this oil. However it’s a very light scent— and since I’m mixing it with lotion anyways it pretty much dissipates imo.
💎Shiseido Urea Body Milk
They key with this lotions is Urea!
Key benefits: Hydration & Exfoliating
This keratolytic lotion is best used for very dry skin— helps to loosen dry & dead skin allowing for exfoliation & improve cellular turnover.
Urea is also noted for its ability to retain moisture by binding to water.
🤍My review: I found this product when looking for a urea body lotion. I chose this one since it’s from a brand I know, trust, and recognize— Shiseido! On its own, it has no scent and definitely makes my skin super soft. That’s why I feel it’s even better when mixed with oil! Oh also~ Body lotions I’ve used in the past to try and combat chicken skin would usually contain acids that would from time to time make my skin tingle or feel sensitive for a bit— this one does NOT do that!
✨HOW TO USE
First apply Hada Labo lotion to damp, clean skin (I apply right out of the shower!)
Then, using about a quarter size of the Shiseido Urea Body Milk, add 3-5 drops of Frei öl Skincare Oil and mix together (I just use my palm and finger!)
Lastly, mindfully spread all over your body~
🤍I’ve been using this combination for awhile now and the quality of my skin— smoothness, brightness, evenness, and hydration has improved so much. I can still feel some bumps on the back of my upper arms— so I’ll still be testing other products I have as well. A good shower routine is also v important for combating chicken skin— & I’ll be sure to make a post about that in the near future!
