I'm currently watching The Killer but it's so boring I can't stand it or maybe it's me who knows

However I watched The Social Network which is also directed by David Fincher and I was never bored throughout so I don't know what happened here

So I watched the first 2 eps of the Winchesters and I have to say surprisingly both Mary and John are likeable in this show however I would have preferred if the show wasn't related to spn because they are such assholes there so most of the time I'm torn between liking younger them and hating older them

Also the show in general is okay so far however it is full of plotholes as John did not know about the supernatural world until after Mary's death and in general the plot does not align with what we already know about their backstories in spn however there are many ways to make them forget about all this and so it would align with spn again but if they did that it would feel like a waste of time

Lastly the stakes for John and Mary is so low since we already know when they die so I never feel afraid or worried for them

Just finished lord of the rings: rings of power and here's my thoughts:

It was the most boring show I've ever seen and it makes me sad to say that because the Lotr trilogy is literally my fav trilogy of all time

As much as I love Galadriel, she shouldn't have been the main character because we already know her ending from Lotr so there would be no tension ever and we as viewers won't ever be worried about her and also because she is very overpowered and that makes it harder for her to have interesting storylines and fight scenes because it needs a really good writer to be able to writer her which the show proved they lack

I couldn't find myself connecting or caring about most if not all of the characters

The only characters I remotely cared about were Elrond and the guy in the navy *spoiler alert* who loses his son * I forgot his name*

The plot and story are not so terrible and even is kinda interesting for the most part but for some reason they executed it in the most boring way ever

The acting wasn't that good but I can't tell if it were the actors fault or because of the bad writing because even the best actors can get hendered down by bad scripts

I liked episode 8 and I think it was my fav ep from the show and it left me kinda intrigued for s2

I felt like the story of this season could have been told in fewer eps or atleast in shorter eps instead of the one hour and fifteen minutes eps give or take

Also the reveals shouldn't have been in ep8 and instead they should have revealed them sooner or atleast some earlier and some in the finale

For some reason it feels to me like I watched 8hrs of TV were barely anything happens like it feels so hollow for some reason

I didn't care about that some characters were potc and them being that is not faithful to the books bec the show suffered from bigger problems so it was the least of my concerns and bec I haven't read any of the books yet

It's so weird how this show is literally the most expensive show ever made yet they forgot to hire some good writers and the whole writing problem thing is not only on this show but more and more shows and movies are coming out with awful to mid writing at best, which makes me question where did the good writers go and why these awful writers keep getting employed like make it make sense

And to end it on a positive note the visuals and cgi were amazing and maybe even the best thing this show has going for it right now and it shows how expensive it is
