Its been 17 years since one of my favorite Doctor Who episodes aired and I am filed with joy!

Bro i gotta leave my safe comfort space and go to texas with my mom and uncle in like a week but i still have to buy plane tickets or rent a car and money is holy shit tight and we just found out my in-laws are coming to visit WHILE IM GONE 😭😫 so now i gotta clean clean clean this decommissioned funeral home we moved into because its covered in dust and i hope long dead mold but my Hyacinth Bucket of an aunt in law wont care and if she thinks we are trash then the whole family will think less of us and be less likely to help out. Gotta have money to be given money right? Boomers man jesus.

Anyway, if my husbands aunt likes the place it might just reshape her perception of her nephew and if that works then her sister will stop being so hard on her son (my spouse). And if that works then she talks us up to the rest of the fam and it might just turn contagious

The VNAs and EDAs are a pretty niche corner of Doctor Who fandom these days so its really fucking cool to get more love for these stories and this era of the series (although they haven't adapted any BBC books yet). I just want y’all to know that one time during lockdown I played a lot of Minecraft because I had nothing better to do and then later I was going to go into my room after a shower so I could go back to being a hermit but it was dark so I just thought “oop, can’t go in there, there’ll be skeletons spawning there and they’ll shoot at me”

And for LIKE FIVE WHOLE SECONDS I didn’t question it and I just turned on the lights and walked out into the living room to wait it out, just thankful I had my pajamas on already so I didn’t have to fight off the shooty skeletons in my dark closet where there might be some creepers too

And then all of a sudden I was like “Wait what the frig skeletons aren’t real” and then just went back into my room

And I think about that a lot. So if ANY OF YOU dare to think that I have any more than three and a half braincells on a really good day, just please remember this and know that you are sorely mistaken

If i manage to pull everything off and get qualified for the things we need we'll be fine.

But if i fail any task we risk losing the house, our stuff, everything
