1089 years have passed since nova aurora was first founded–and the utopian society of technological innovation stands tall in a radioactive wasteland as humanity’s greatest accomplishment. spanning over five million square miles behind tall, sprawling walls to protect the citizens from the toxic remnants of a bygone world, nova aurora is the pinnacle of cyber-advancement. the entire city is interwoven with high-speed fiberoptics, creating a large main-frame to which all aurorians are able to connect to with a tap on their phone. bullet trains that move at the speed of sound, sleek hovercars & hovercycles, smartphones given to each individual by the overarching government—the city is nothing short of a dream. the population is booming & while the human inhabitants continue to thrive, they are not alone…

in the year 406 PA, the first androids were created; semi humanoid robots with only a vague level of activity, the proto-droids were used as laborers and supercomputers meant to aid humans in their journey to technological advancement… and in the last six-hundred years, they, too, have evolved from their humble beginnings. now, androids are nearly as present as humans. androids meant for protection, intelligence, and even companionship have been built, distributed, and kickstarted all throughout nova aurora—and as their artificial intelligence grew more and more refined, so too did their sentience.
