I made a simself of my husband. The sim's name is Casey Plumbob (not my husband's real name, obviously, lol). His traits are Genius, Computer Whiz, Friendly...and I can't remember the other ones. XD

They also have a Scottish Fold cat named Squish (the cat we wish we had IRL).

I finally made a simself! Her name is Jamantha Plumbob (the name is an inside joke, lol). The likeness isn’t exact by any means, but I’m happy with how she turned out. 😍

Her traits are Artistic, Good Sense of Humor, Perfectionist, Loner, and Over-Emotional.

Additional screenshots of the Ravenwoods. Gabriel was a big hit with the Almshouse ladies, in particular with Josselyn Parry, who he became best friends with in the background. The poor thing fainted during his ghost story though (I guess Cowards don't really have a strong enough-constitution for that, lol).

Prosper hit it off with Gladys Owens at Gabriel's Love Day party, but they didn't really get to spend much time together.

He also got abducted by aliens in the early morning on Tax Day, but the game crashed before the moodlet timed out, and he didn't get abducted on the second play-through of the day, so no alien baby.

The Ravenwoods, Round 1 Spring

First order of business for the season was to hire a live-in servant (butler). Meet Deirdre Murphy. She gets along well with the Ravenwoods and is very dependable with her household tasks. She's not a bad cook either.

Prosper is a very active man, despite his old age. He spent most of his free time exercising or practicing martial arts. He hasn't shown any interest in retiring from his military position any time soon (though part of that may be because he likes to have an excuse to visit all the attractive men at the military barracks).

While Prosper is at work, Gabriel spends his days either playing the lute or hanging out at his fishing venue (or both).

Gabriel's Lifetime Wish is to be Super Popular, so he constantly craves social interaction. He's a very kind and friendly person, so he gets along with pretty much everyone in town...most of the time.

He and Carl Hofstad come to an arrangement where the Hofstads provide him with all the fish they catch at his venue, and in return the Ravenwood estate would pay for their rent. His generosity means that Carl won't owe a late fee at the next tax day.

On Prosper's days off, he enjoyed visiting St. Luna's and giving skill lectures...though not many people seemed to be interested in them, lol.

For Love Day, Gabriel threw a party, which turned out to be a huge hit with the guests. His lute-playing may have had something to do with that, lol.

By the end of the season, Prosper had made enough money from his career to pay gentry-class rent and taxes.

Chapel of Saint Luna Eternal & Moonriver Cemetery

After Thatcher and Shuri Beck's contribution, the Royal Treasury surpassed the next threshold of $8000, unlocking the church and graveyard lots. In the original rules, this is one lot, but I decided to split it into two. The church is zoned as an art gallery.

St. Luna's is an inter-faith chapel, where Sims of both the Jacoban and Peteran faiths can marry, as well as worship and fellowship together. Melinda Cromwell is the priest assigned to the church, and she lives in the rectory next door (not pictured here).

Dingley Brocas

Traits: Charismatic, Ambitious, Brave, Unlucky, Grumpy

Dingley grew up in Satbury, working the family's trade as a woodcutter. Fortunately, his father was able to buy the family's entrance into the yeomanry before his death. Dingley saved up enough money to go out on his own and traveled the country for a little while, doing odd jobs and playing his lute for tips. He married a lovely lady on his travels, and they had four boys together.

Being the ambitious sort, Dingley decided to move his family to Ravenwood in order to open a tavern. Unfortunately, his wife got sick and passed away on the journey, leaving him to raise their sons alone.

As a result, some days he is just incapable of feeling happy and sometimes takes it out on those around him.

Phillibert Brocas

Traits: Loves to Swim, Athletic, Grumpy

Phillibert developed a bit of his father's characteristic grumpiness. Not surprising, considering that he picked up most of the slack when it came to taking care of his baby brothers. He likes to go swimming by himself in order to blow off some steam every once in a while.

Thatcher really loves being a dad. He did most of the baby care so Shuri could recover from the birth.

Shuri got along really well with Gladys Owens, one of the Almshouse ladies. Gladys has a really hard time getting people to interact with her, so I'm glad she found someone to click with.

The Beck Household, Round 1 Spring

Thatcher and Shuri make their living by selling eggs, cheese, and meat from their pigs. They've been engaged for a little while and hope to get married soon.

At the beginning of the spring, Shuri started getting more sore than usual. She first thought that she was just tired from tending the animals, but...

...it turned out that she was pregnant! Yay! (the first baby of the challenge)

She stayed pretty active during her pregnancy. Thatcher, who's a witch in addition to being a former pirate, cast a little luck charm to help things go more smoothly.

When it came time for the baby to arrive, Thatcher brought the midwife over, Carys Pritchard, though she wasn't much help, lol.

Welcome baby girl Nara! She was born with the Brave and Athletic traits.

After Nara aged up into a toddler, Thatcher and Shuri were finally able to take the time to get married. They had a little ceremony at the village green (since there's no church yet), and it seemed like most of the town was in attendance.

The Becks actually did very well with their home business. Marking up the price of their stock (and selling exotic eggs to out-of-town merchants) really helped boost their income and catapulated Thatcher through quite a few career levels. They actually have enough household funds to purchase a rank-up to the Merchant class, but they can't afford an appropriate house and community lot business, so that will have to wait.

Fortunately, though, their tax and rent contribution moved the Royal Treasury to the next threshold! Not only that, but the town has now leveled up to Level 2 Hamlet. That means more community lots and new families are coming to town!

Everford, Chapter 9: The Betrayal

In an interesting turn of events, Everford's local physician, Rose Tanglewood became responsible for the security of a high-profile prisoner: Blacksail Korbin Ravenscar. The Tredonian Guild Consortium feared a rescue attempt on their soil, so they transferred him to Everford for safe-keeping.

Upon returning to the clinic, Rose encountered a patient whose trade caravan had been attacked by Guild operatives. The poor woman had been forced to eat an entire bottle of mustache wax and was in a lot of pain. Rose successfully treated her, but thought it was very odd for the Guild to attack other traders just because they weren't part of the Guild.

After doing some more tasks around the clinic, Rose decided to check up on the prisoner. When she arrived at the judgement zone, one of the guards handed her a note that had fallen out of Ravenscar's pant leg. He was offering a substantial reward for his release. If Rose had seen this note yesterday, she would have flat out refused, but after treating that poor woman for mustache wax poisoning, she wasn't so sure. Besides, she didn't really have the authority to make a ruling, so she took the matter to the king.

Much to her surprise, he authorized her to negotiate with Ravenscar for the terms of his release.

It seemed that Ravenscar was looking for more than just being released from captivity. He wanted to get back at Admiral Mandrake, who had locked him up in the first place. Rose accompanied Ravenscar back to Aarbyville to pick up some reinforcements, and then she sent word to Admiral Mandrake in Tredony to lure him back to Everford for an ambush.

Needless to say, Ravenscar kicked the crap out of Mandrake and sent him crawling back to Tredony with a message: "I'm coming for you."

Everford was now tentative allies with the Pirate Tribunal, but how long will that last?

More screenshots of the Nicolosi household. They're a really close-knit family, and Alfio and Camilla aren't bashful about how much they love each other. Just look at the way Alfio looks at his wife; so adorable!

I used every excuse I could think of to send Flora over to the Winthrop house. Alfio gets sick with a cold? Send Flora over for some broth. The Winthrops invite them over for a party? Say yes every time. So far, Flora and Eric are friends and find each other attractive, but no romantic wishes have developed yet. We'll see how that progresses, if at all.

Apparently, Flora inherited her father's ability to levitate in mid-air, lol.

The Nicolosi Household, Round 1 Spring

Alfio has big plans for his family. He dreams of one day becoming a merchant and owning his own market, a bustling center of commerce in the town. Until then, though, he'll have to make do with his familiy's fruit and vegetable stand.

Camilla absolutely adores her plants; she gets along better with plants than she does with people, which is part of the reason why she named their daughter Flora.

Speaking of Flora, as the heir to the home business, she spent some time tending the stand and learning how to garden, in between her homework and other chores.

The Nicolosis are next-door neighbors to the Winthrops, so the two families spent a good amount of time together. Alfio and Camilla hope that Flora can be betrothed to Eric Winthrop soon, but they don't plan to force an arranged marriage if the teens aren't interested in each other.

Overall, it was a good spring for this family. They made enough money to pay taxes and rent, though there wasn't much left over. It appears that Alfio's dream to become a merchant will have to wait.

Here are some extra screenshots from spring with the Winthrops. Eric gets along really well with his step-mother Isidora, but he and Anya butt heads a lot. Their relationship is in the red.

One the first or second evening, Landon and Anya autonomously went outside to watch the stars together. I was like, "Excuse me? You guys are not married. What is happening?!?" I kept a close eye on them the rest of the week, but they didn't do any more autonomous romantic interactions with each other, though Landon and Isidora were all over each other, lol. Maybe Landon felt guilty for flirting with Anya and tried to overcompensate.

Eric rolled a wish to play dominoes, so he paid a visit to the military barracks because they're the only household with a dominoes board. Everything was going well until one of the soldiers, Jasper Maddox, completely beat the crap out of him. I still have no idea why they were fighting, but I'm pretty sure that Jasper was the initiator. I'm contemplating having him pay a fine and/or do jail time for assault if he ever becomes playable.

In other news, Anya has a couple of potential romantic interests now, though I neglected to get any screenshots. (sad) One is Ayden Cross, one of the military men, and the other is Katrina Howell, an Almshouse lady. Anya went on a date with Katrina, and they're friends, so in the summer I'll have her become friends with Ayden and see who she's more interested in.

The Winthrops, Round 1 Spring

It was a hectic week for this yeoman family, but also a productive one. Turns out that jars of jam are way more popular than putrid-quality honey, lol. The candles sold pretty well too.

Isidora was in charge of making the jams and candles, while Landon took care of the beehives...or tried to, at least. The bees didn't take to him very well, bless his heart. He did better at tending the produce stand.

As the eldest child, Eric spent some time learning the family business. He got along well with the bees, though he'll need to be vigilant about taking care of them if he wants to get anything better than horrifying-quality honey, lol.

Graham was responsible for fetching water from the community well, though sometimes he got distracted if there were any gnubb games going on. He did help Anya out with the gardening, though.

The only thing Sofya had to worry about was learning her toddler skills. Between all the grown-ups in the household, she learned all three!

When she and Graham aged-up at the end of the season, she developed the Supernatural Fan trait, just like her mother Isidora. Graham grew up to be a Bookworm....a very muscular bookworm.

Between the excellent profits and bonuses from business rank-ups, the Winthrops were able to make a hefty contribution to the Royal Treasury!
