ahhhhhhh (incoherent screams) you finally saw that reblog of mine where i just ugh (proceeds to hide) i just.... let it all out. you see, sometimes i`m just a ball of emotional wreck & whenever i read some outrageously good, my emotional side of the brain just start gearing up its engines.

idk how to explain but i was nervous after posting my thoughts under sad machines because i thought what if you got weirded out by me spilling all those extremely personally thoughts. i was like "ah you stupid, why did you go so overboard with your thoughts?? what if em thinks you`re just plain weird?" i was just very very nervous.

BUT after seeing how you were happy reading whatever the fuck i wrote (god, it`s still embarrassing, that`s like me confessing my love for sad machines) i`m glad i wrote it, nonetheless, i hope that made you happy. that`s all that matters.

also, you`re amazing, em! i hope you & your best friend had a good laugh. i hope you`re doing well these days? please stay safe & make sure to stay hydrated! you`re extremely precious & deserve all the happiness in the world.

i've been hoarding this message for ages so i apologize if you were waiting for me to respond sooner and for suddenly getting a random notification from me. it's been a while since i've logged in on here. i'm in grad school now, in a different city, and in a different period of my life. but what i will say is "sad machines" holds a wonderful place in my heart. your words were not weird, and i am truly, undoubtedly touched that you spent as much time as you did to write your sweet thoughts. i am doing very well these days! still battling writer's block, but i'm a poet now. i write scenes of fic and am trying to transition into non-fanfic writing, so that's been fun. still finding my way, but finding that it's coming together quite nicely. i love you and your kindness! i really hope you're doing well, staying safe, and most importantly, taking care of yourself, koyel!

I am beyond words!!!!!!!! I am floored, absolutely speechless. I just do not know where to begin when I say that I did not at all expect such sentiments. to know that this story has touched you so immeasurably... there’s no better feeling than this. I wrote this story... my goodness, in 2017! that was four years ago! that’s absolutely bonkers to me that this story is still being read, let alone re-read! koyel, I just want you to know that I still think about your initial words and genuine enthusiasm for sad machines, and it’s that kind of vigor that sticks with me to this day. I don’t know how else to express my gratitude, so maybe I can share some sentiments about this story and what it meant for me when I wrote it.

some of this story hails from a personal place. no endearing bad boy or any of that sort, though that would’ve been nice lol, but I did write this place with those emotions you’ve homed in on. being depended on, seeking a home, wanting to be remembered, feeling misunderstood in some ways, and yet, still finding solace even in the darkness. while the events are not my life, those feelings are. I’ve always been one to say that my stories have a bit of my soul in them, a piece of me I like to impart. while we don’t know one another, and I am but another person on the interwebs simply talking into existence, I am grateful this story found you. I am grateful that you resonated with a part of me, and found some solace in it too. thank you. absolutely thank you from the very bottom of my heart.

But within moments, you found that you were not particularly fond of the aforementioned either.

hiii dear! it's hard to say, because on one hand, I know exactly how I would like to end the mini series. I have the notes, some bits of pieces of the drafts, but it's hard to sit down and actually write it with the same vigor that I had when I began the story. I might post the notes? I've tried relentlessly to work on the drafts, but I don't know if I can do it the justice the way I would absolutely love to. thank you for having so much interest in the series! I adore you and be patient with me while I come to a final decision <3

hello! so, unfortunately i do not think i will be continuing TCD. it’s not an ideal thing to hear, but i’m not sure i’m motivated or even inspired to write for that story anymore. i recall planning and even creating an outline for it some time when i was most excited for the story, so i can scrounge that up, i might be able to share it. i really did enjoy the story and where i wanted to take it... i just don’t know if i’ll be able to do it justice anymore.

of course, this isn’t a definite answer, however, it is neither a guarantee i’ll pick it back up. i do apologize, and i truly appreciate your kind words! thank you, have a wonderful day! <3

hello i just stumbled upon your nct haechan fic walk you home. upon reading through it i wouldn't have expected to catch myself crying over it since it hit too close to home plus they way you delivered the mc's emotions torn over her fear with the idea of her finally letting in a person like haechan w(hom is so clearly perfect for her) and her deep love for him made me really connect on such a level tug my heartstrings. thank you for writing it <3
