good luck today in the test chamber, dr. freeman! by the way, that HEV suit they put you in. is it comfortable? i've heard some people compare it to a corset, but what's your take?
GF: It feels strange at first, but it becomes something of a second skin once you get used to it.
GF: It’s almost like sci-fi armor I suppose?
GF: I once had a nightmare that the Training Course would shoot real bullets at you to prove the majority of the suit were bulletproof. It felt a little too real.

Besides your family, is there anything else you miss from outside of Black Mesa?
GF: More of home I guess. Forest...beaches... whatever the great Pacific Northwest has to offer.
GF: I don’t miss the traffic though.
GF: Maybe I should just become a hermit scientist with 12 PhDs living in a cozy shack in the middle of the woods.

Weird question, you ever think about havin kids? You seem like you might make a good dad
GF: No. I can barely take care of myself.
GF: If I somehow managed to get through my doctorate and have a kid at the same time I think I’d lose my mind.
GF: Something like that requires an intense amount of strength and tenacity I’m just not built for.

If you had to choose between losing an arm or an eye, which would you choose?
GF: I’ve thought long and hard about this and the answer may surprise you.
GF: Neither.
GF: But I guess there’s no harm in preparing for either scenario starting from now on.
GF: Since people continue to insist on it.

How are you tying with your eyes closed???
GF: It’s pretty easy actually! You just need to know which group of letters are on the phone buttons, memorize their placement, and you’re good to go.
GF: Then you keep pressing the key until you reach the letter, number or symbol you want. It’s much simpler than computer keyboards- There are only twelve ‘keys’, so to speak. It’s all a matter of remembering how it’s oriented.
GF: ...I made it sound too complicated than it really is. I promise it’s simpler than it sounds.
GF: A kid once made fun of me for not typing fast enough on this thing.

Ooo can I ask what your thesis was about Dr. Freeman?
GF: The Observation of Einstein-Podolsky-Rosen Entanglement on Supraquantum Structures by Induction through Nonlinear Transuranic Crystal of Extremely Long Wavelength (ELW) Pulse from Mode-Locked Source Array.
GF: I’d very much elaborate but there’s only so much this little phone can allow me to type.

Is it just me or does the tram seem like it's been taking longer lately?
GF: Yeah. Feels like an hour has passed and yet...
GF: Usually I’d be at the labs by now.
GF: Maybe I’m just having an ‘off’ day.
