i realize this is a melodramatic response to things strangers said to me on the internet and i’m embarrassed about it but idrc, i was already feeling defeated bc my garden isn’t doing well and people’s comments made me feel dumb when i’ve done gardens before and never had this many problems.

i’m ranting bc it’s late and i can’t sleep but i’m in a facebook group for gardening and i asked for help bc it’s my first time gardening in the area i’m in and i feel like people were being kind of condescending and it honestly kind of hurt my feelings. some people were really nice and helpful and others were just a little bit less kind about their comments.

one person told me i should just dig up my broccoli bc it’s not going to do anything, another told me that my garden was confusing them, and someone else told me that my problems were a “lesson learned.”

needless to say i’m no longer in that group, i’ll just use google next time :/
