B I O G R A P H Y .

this includes canon information, as well as headcanons. this contains SPOILERS.

karen was born into an initially wealthy, suburban family. as she was able to get by on family name, her studies were never a priority to her, which showed. yet, with her parents having little direct involvement in her life, she was not encouraged to put more effort into her schooling, & as a result, she was known as ' the dumbest girl you'll ever meet ' by the time she reached high school. still, she was considered to be very pretty & promiscuous, which led to her popularity. though this could've easily put a target on her back, she managed to find an in with two other popular girls – gretchen, daughter of the toaster strudel inventor, & regina, a controlling & dominating queen bee. she often kept to the group, known as the plastics, & other highly seen peers, but was often indifferent, if not amicable, to others especially when not around the other two girls.

in her junior year, a socially awkward girl by the name of cady, who transferred as a homeschooler, quickly caught the attention of regina. she was requested to join them at lunch for the rest of the week, though this initial invitation was extended & she grew into the role of an official addition to the plastics over time. unknowingly to karen or the other plastics, cady was initially there to cause a rift between the clique, & regina was briefly casted out as a result. now following the lead of cady, as karen was lost without someone to follow, the plastics continued to thrive until regina anonymously released copies of the plastics' cruel burn book, filled with judgements on the school's girls, which caused chaos amongst the junior girls. by process of elimination, karen was amongst those accused of writing it until cady took full blame & things were slightly amended at spring fling. still, the plastics fully disbanded by her senior year, & she became school weather reporter ,using questionable practices, until she ended up here shortly into the school year.

though i am using her surname from the 2024 musical to reflect the fc better, i am mostly pulling her from the original movie. i was back & forth about this though, so i might change my mind later, but i'm hoping it doesn't really affect much either way.

" she asks , not sure whether the words were a more general statement , or if there are particular thoughts that are bothering him. she hadn't actually expected alec to have something to share when she asked about secrets , but if there really is an issue , she is glad that she will know about it. did not come as a surprise, jane is the favorite ❝ i bet you are ❞ he have always seen his twin sister as being more the social one. but he never wanted to become close to any of the others in the volturi's ❝ i miss home when we did not had to think of these problems ❞ he barely had used his powers in dc ❝ i am not sure. i have been questioning much about myself while i've lived here. things i have not had to think of back home ❞ he moved up a hand to his lips as he was thinking, looked away from jane ❝ but it was a secret i kept for you, everyone. i tried to push it away because we are not supposed to feel weakness ❞ he explained, glanced back at her. didn't know why he decided to tell now. maybe was because their leaders wasn't here or heard them talking. not what he knew. as he could hear was no ears everywhere anymore.

** time skip ** // team blinks the grogginess away when he wakes up the next morning , the sun shining brightly into the room as indication that he'd slept in. he doesn't immediately recall how he got into a bed the night prior , but he knows it doesn't have anything to do with alcohol. he only had the one drink , but he had been drained by the end of the evening thanks to all the walking & dancing , so he wouldn't be surprised if win had to half-carry him most of the way back. at the thought of the other , he pulls himself up slightly to prop up against the headrest. " breakfast sounds good right now , " he murmurs to himself , as he wonders if win would join him. " or would it be brunch ? "
