So I'm one of those delusional artists that doesn't know what the average person's 100% looks like for a finished piece...

How ya'll feel'n when I say this part of a larger piece, is 'Rushed' ?

Also yeah, its only one panle of a larger piece, and I'm considering completely rerendering it on a larger scale!

Basically I'm looking for feedback to see if I'm being overly critical, and if it does need to be resized.

He's a bit temperamental, but he keeps things professional... Most of the time

I read Sandman as the type to greatly value the separation of work life and home life. As in he only interacts with the other boxers if its for work, y'know. Just a rather private person.

In contrast, his manager is a very sociable and lovely person to work with. Often encouraging/ trying to persuade Sandy to interact with the other boxers, but not in a way that oversteps boundaries. just suggests to go with optional stuff like, going out for drinks and what not.

Essentially "Tall, quiet man and short, social butterfly" dynamic.

I mean... Canonically he Will very much have a temper tantrum in a public space...

Though the more complex idea I had about Macho Man is that he previously had an unhealthy relationship with his previous manager.

This manager essentially macro managed everything about Macho. Just controlled absolutely every detail about how "The Super Macho Man Brand" would look.

From Macho's body, manner of speaking, what he said/ responded with, who he was seen with, who he talked to privately, what the tabloids said about him- Just ABSOLUTLY EVERYTHING!!!

Complete control freak of a manger, to the point that even the WVBA producers were a little concerned for Macho Man's well being!!!

At first Macho isn't really sure about some of the manager's ideas (since they're morally questionable at times), but he get told stuff like, "its good for marketing" or "our surveys found that fans really dig this" etc. etc. And he's a flip'n himbo that assumes/ is manipulated to believe his manager knows what's best for him.

At some point he thankfully fires the manager... Unfortunately it's because Macho's ego maximizes from the fame he gets, and he believes he's "too good for this scrawny worm that pushes him around".

The decision to fire the manager was potentially set in motion by said manger try to get Mach Man associated with the Beach Boys.

The manager he ends up hiring after words is a quiet man who shows complete contrast to the previous manager.

Essentially the interview starts, Macho says something rather problematic/ distasteful, the man firmly but calmly corrects Macho, Macho is taken aback by the combination of human decency while holding him accountable, Macho apologizes, and hires the guy right then and there.

Their relationship is MUCH healthier than the other manager, but the damage is still present. Macho still trusts that this manager knows better than him and anticipates he'll be told what to do. Essentially a case of forgetting how to think for himself.

The new manager is left clueless to the this issue. He simply corrects Macho when necessary, and in a respectful manner.

So yeah, Super Macho man was a regular himbo that went through a corruption arc due to a narcissistic manager that he no long associates with.

Sure his persona is a flip'n deranged beef cake that smashes his own skull in, but what if that was just the kinda façade he fell into when joining the WVBA?

Honestly love the idea of a younger bull having a destructive teen phase. Just punching holes in walls, and needing an outlet for his anger issues.

At some point (age 17-20 maybe) he is suggested to try boxing, and meets Doc (ether as a coach or sparing partner idk). He picks up the rules and techniques of the sport quickly. Wins and losses here and there.

The structure of having a training schedule, developing passion for boxing, and Doc being there to listen to him about his struggles. It all helps him get a better grasp of his emotions and helps him understand himself better.

As for how he got the gimmick of Bald bull? The producers of WVBA and Bull's manager suggested it. WVBA gets people in seats by promising unbelievable performances that wouldn't necessarily be legal in any regular boxing ring. The more 'crazy' a boxer seems, the more people are gonna want to see the show live. Thus, a good business decision to sell more seats.

It for sure took some convincing, but Bull ended up agreeing to at least try the persona (especially since marketing had already been told to use the title for him). So he faked his anger and exaggerated his mannerisms to the fullest.

He winds up ending the fight in round one with, his now signature move, the Bull Charge (Essentially being improvised by his new title). The display spontaneously makes his popularity sky rocket more that the producers had anticipated.

He gets booked for matches more and more, having a high success rate thanks to his Bull charge. His manager makes sure his schedule isn't set up in a way that would cause burn out though. This leaves him a fair amount of time to consider how he feels about the sudden shift in his life.

It feel strange to be encouraged to act similarly to how he did when was a 'troubled teen', but the persona is showing to be very successful for him... Oh well.

So yeah, chill dude who pretends to be deranged because it sell tickets :3

I noticed that Soda talks kinda fast in the few voice lines he has during the intermissions. So I guess he would talk even faster when upset. Idk just doesn't seem like an angry guy, but rather a lil air headed.

Have yall seen that post that talks about the difference between dry and wet anger?

More or less, dry anger is when you are just so done with something that you just don't really react. While wet anger is were you care so much that you cry because your body needs to flush that feeling out of you.

I can absolutely see Don flamenco being the type of guy to get so pissed off that he starts crying. Like not cry around others. Just get so mad that he has to leave the room or else he'll start crying and be emotionally vulnerable.

Kinda fused around with eye color since I already did red a few times, and kinda liked the green ones because they look like lil kiwi slices lmao. Decided to keep the green on the version with a  transparent background.

Minor Circuit Complete!!! Wanted to do different lighting because I get bored when the rendering process gets repetitive. Kinda wish I left his eye white but its whatever.

Gonna queue up the remaining nine boxers, so its gonna be a bit of a wait. Also don't have personal head canons for Hippo.

Like he just plays up the 'beast energy' for the audience, and is an absolute sweetheart outside of the ring. Pretty sure that's just his fanon interpretation at this point lol :3
