**Flashback Post**

December 20th, 1995

Cruz kinda likes me! I am in la la land! I told Alfredo how I felt about him but he wouldn’t tell me if Cruz felt anything for me. Then, at the end of the conversation Alfredo said really quietly “Cruz kind of likes you and says he’d go out with you. He said he thought you liked him because you touched his arm.” That was what I was trying to communicate to him that I DID like him, but I figured he wouldn’t notice because most guys are dense in that area. But, Cruz did!

Then Alfredo hung up after that. I got kinda mad, but I think he wasn’t supposed to tell me and he didn’t want Jimmy to hear. Jimmy came right out and told me he still liked me. I was not happy because if I play hockey with them, and I want Cruz, and he might want me, the feelings of Jimmy would get in the way.

Jimmy is REALLY nice, but he’s weird, a dork, and not very attractive. I mean, he’s also just a friend that I could not think differently of. I just can’t.

They invited me to play hockey with them tomorrow but I don’t have a ride. SAD! And I could have seen Cruz.

Sabrina told me awhile ago that Justin apparently liked me a long time ago around my last birthday. I did like him somewhat. But maybe that was because he was the only guy around besides Ross and I would NEVER like Ross.

But I can’t go out with Justin or Jimmy. The reputation would not work. (Although I don’t have much of one already anyways) But sometimes I wish I could go out with one of them because I know they would treat me great. But, no. I remember the days when I thought I would always follow my feelings no matter what anyone thought. But that was also fifth grade. Things have changed. But I AM following my feelings by knowing I ❤️ Cruz.
