I’m SO excited to preorder the usuk transatlantic zine once its available is the US!!! Ngl havent been this excited in a while lol. I was wondering how contributors were decided on? Also, did anything in particular inspire u to organize this project? Thanks!!

hi! Cheers for the ask! The US store is opening incredibly soon and i'm excited for everyone to see the merch that's going along with it!

(i had to sort out tumblr support since i couldn't view the inbox so sorry about the delay!)

For contributors we reached out to artists we knew and thought would work well together in the book, so the artists were invited directly to participate because we loved their styles and thought would make for an interesting and varied fan project!

As for inspiration, we hadn't seen a project like this pop up in some time and figured if you want to buy a usuk zine but there isn't one then it's high time to set one up! Personally i love sketchbook zines and concept art books too, so we made sure to include a lot of sketches and wips from the pieces into the finished product along with all the amazing art pages!

Contributing the sort of thing i'd like to see more of in the fandom, and then the profits going to a charitable cause just seemed like a win win!

hey! Thanks for taking an interest in the zine!

And yeah! The store that ships from the UK is currently open here and offers tracked international shipping around the world including to the EU!

Currently the zine is on preorder which will close in the first week of september and then we'll order in all of the components and start shipping out!

(We will also be opening a US based store too very soon, for the yanks! Hopefully having two bases for the shipping will be more accessible )
