FLPM’s Quarantine Glow Up Nº 2
How to Find Your Style and Look More Put Together Effortlessly
Everyone has their own style of fashion that feels natural to them and expresses who they are. I believe that fashion is a creative expression that can tell a story about who we are or our mood for the day. No matter what kind of fashion you like or have, it is important to look neat and stylish. Dress for the part you want or the person you want to be. Now this part II of my quarantine glow up series is focused on dressing more feminine and opulent. I make an effort to always dress as if I’m heading to somewhere important, even during quarantine. One of my favorite quotes say it the best:
“You can have anything you want in life if you dress for it.” — Edith Head
I want to have a life full of wealth, opulence, and freedom, so I dress for the part. I absolutely do not wear sweatpants or leggings out in public, unless I am coming or going to the gym. Being the best dressed in a grocery store, mall, or even the gas station will surely bring positive attention to you and even attract your ideal partner. To get a general idea on how I personally dress, I included a picture below:

I did not find my sense of style overnight, this was a process that has been ongoing for almost 10 years. Every year I do find a new style that I like and I try to incorporate it into my existing wardrobe. I generally dress based on my mood, weather, and season. I rarely follow trends and I usually stick to timeless classic pieces that will still be in style even 10 years from now.

Remember, dressing feminine does not mean you have to look like a matron! There is nothing wrong with showing some cleavage, legs, arms, or back, it just has to be shown in appropriate settings and occasions. For example, I would wear a backless top to a brunch or a dress showing my arms and cleavage to a dinner date. Just choose one area to show off and let that only be the focal point, it’ll let imaginations run wild without giving the wrong impression about you. Use your quarantine time to research and find inspiration of fashions you like and would like to own once we can enjoy outside again. Remember, it’s not the designer or price of clothes that give you style, it’s about the quality, fabrics, prints, and the person who is wearing it!

A quarantine pack of tips for you !
01: Morning ♡︎
- Start your day off with positive affirmations, be kind to yourself and be grounded.
- Start taking vitamins with breakfast ( if you can ) that improve your outside & inside health. I recommend hair, skin, and nails gummies & things like magnesium, calcium, etc.
- Make your bed & keep your space tidy ! A little bit of organizing in the morning can go a long way.
- Drink lots of water throughout the morning & eat something healthy to have a productive start to your day.
- Brush your teeth & do your skincare routine. This is a must ! I made a post about what skincare I’ve been loving for Summer 2020 that you can see underneath the “my post” tag.
- If you practice a religion, please make sure to incorporate it into your morning. Read the The Bible, research, learn, anything ! Do what you find peace in.
Additional tips -
- Listen to your favorite songs at the moment ( preferably something uplifting )
- Put on your favorite perfume, just because we aren’t around strangers doesn’t mean perfume is out of the equation.
- If you’re practicing LOA script, journal, etc. Do your method of practicing. Also just journaling ingeneral is good for you.

you’re allowed to get up one day and just decide to change who you are. dress differently, speak up more, laugh out loud even though you’ve never liked your laugh, say what you want to, say hey to people you wouldn’t normally, get that confidence going. we don’t have to stay the way people see us out of the fear that they won’t like the us we want to be.
