artfight attack that i whipped up in about two hours on august 1st for oatmeald of their character tommy. check out their attack for me here! i was going to sleep the previous night and thinking about the attacks i had left to do and was thinking about the fishbowl tommy wears on his head. and i was like “hmm what if there were actual fish in there” and then i was like “nah that would take too much time to draw out properly” but then i was like “hmmmm sleeping in a terrarium would look cool” so thus this was made.

personal piece about how i've been feeling for the past four months or so. i am mired in this disgusting sludge and it is incredibly difficult to claw my way out of it. i would just cut myself off from the situation that is bringing on all these negative feelings, but it is not that easy. thus, every day i grapple with huge amounts of stress and anxiety and feelings of isolation. i feel like i am screaming in pain and everyone is letting the wound fester for the sake of keeping an uneasy peace. i am reminded of it daily and my loneliness gives me too much time to sink back into this pit of sludge. too disabled for acceptance, not disabled enough for patience. please do not worry too much about me. i am managing and hopefully will see the light at the end of the tunnel soon.

commission done for @superdeluxecactus (blog features a lot of anime titty so beware) of his wolf warforged ulvur, featuring crazy-ass antlers and non-canon energy arms that i thought would be cool. think the clouds came out pretty cool here. zoOoOom in for details; there are some pretty cool star fields in there. i also made some sort of weird cloud effect for the wings and whatnot. anyway... hope you like it. :)

this one's simpler than my other attacks. i cranked it out in the dead of night at around 2 AM and it was quite the struggle fighting the sleep to get it fixed up and ready before the artfight deadline rolled around. somehow i got hit with five attacks this year, mostly from people i haven't met before. blessed by the random character selector i guess??? either way, i was quite enamored by this character's cute design. not exactly a bird, but a birdfolk, but i do love birds so lotus caught my eye nonetheless.

the world must have gone mad because this is the second piece i've finished this week. somehow i did this in one sitting. it was supposed to be just a quick ugly sketch as a placeholder asset for something i'm building, but i just kept adding onto it and then at some point i realized i'd finished on accident. the design illustrated here is an original concept that is based on the mascots of the art commissions discord server, which were originally created by synthpolice. i created my own concept that is basically like an upgraded cool mech version of the two. if it feels like there's spider-verse influence, that's because there is. :) this piece uses halftone brushes from photoshop supply.
