I'm disappointed we had no Benji and Armando scenes with Victor in Season 2. I know Benji has met Victor's family, but I want to manifest that he gets to meet them as Victor's boyfriend and they have a nice family dinner now that Isa accepts Victor.
same i'm really sad too like did they even meet? i feel like they did since he was like "tell the benji-meister i said sup" ghghg but omg yes pls let's manifest it like isa and armando made up and i guess he'll move back and one day when benji and vic will finally make up too they'll invite him and have a nice family dinner 😭 i really need it!! 😭

have you watched jess lv reactions? If you haven't they are the best & so relatable. she understands all the characters especially benji. I loved how she didn't ignore that benji's dad taking him to a strip club was so inappropriate & mentioned it throughout her reactions. i really want the writers to address how wrong this is in s3. i did not like how they made it a joke. it's a very serious situation bc benji is a minor. she also mentioned how there is some trauma with benji & his parents.
yes!! i love her so much!! she's the best and i share pretty much all of her opinions and yes i really love how well she understands benji i can't even count how many times i've cried watching her talking about him and i don't think that the writers made a joke about benji's dad taking him to a strip club it looked like benji tried to downplay his trauma (been there done that) but since vic thinks that it's all easy for benji and he's out and proud and confident he didn't even thought of how wrong it was and just laughed at it. but yes i really hope that s3 will finally explore all these traumas and we'll he how fragile benji really is

I'm starting to wonder if when victor hit his head in the cabin in 2x04 he did some damage? he never got it checked. that looked like a bad fall when he hit his head.
yeah that fall really looked pretty bad!! this shouldn't be funny but it made me feel that vic acting like his brain is turned off in the second half of the season has something to do with it lmao

I was watching 1x10 again. I forgot Benji forgave Vic after reading his apology letter about kissing him. Then I think back to 2x07 when B asked for forgiveness for his own personal struggles on drinking/AA & Vic couldn't support/forgive him. The more I go back to watch the more Vic makes me mad in some situations. I'm not saying B was right in situations either bc he made me mad in some too,but I understand both POV's. They are only human who make real mistakes. I love these characters so much!
yeah exactly they're only human and that's why i love them so much and true they both made mistakes but when it comes to vic i still can't really forgive him for making benji's addiction about himself and for telling his secret to someone whom benji didn't even really know that's why i'm looking forward to s3 i want to see how vic owns his mistakes and how they both learn to understand each other better i really hope we'll it!!

When Benji said "I can't trust you" to Victor after finding out he told someone he barely knows about his drinking, that scene, it cut a hole in my heart. I felt his pain. 😭 The one person that he loves and trusted with his personal stuff betrayed him. Then it crushed me when Benji saw Victor dancing with that same person at the wedding. 😭
yes it was really heartbreaking i mean i'm pissed at vic for other things too but telling benji's secret to rahim was literally the ultimate betrayal but benji still just wanted to take a break bc it was a lot for him and the dancing yes i can't even imagine how crushed was benji i don't even know what to expect from s3 in this regard

do you think benji's parents wanted to sabotage his relationship with victor? i thought it was horrible how they treated their own son on his birthday. they outed his aa in a public place without talking it over with him in private. he looked so uncomfortable.
sorry that i'm answering only now this week was a mess. but no i don't think they wanted to sabotage his relationship. i think they're a little bit careless and that why benji ended up in aa in the first place

I need to talk about this with someone. I'm tired of Victor not getting called out for his mistakes that he did in S2 and he even had some in S1 too. People can love a character and still call them out on their mistakes/flaws. It's what makes them real. Benji messed up too,but so did Vic and I wish that was acknowledged too. I love both characters, but can still admit they both messed up. Arguments happen, they just need to have healthy communication. We have to remember they are just teenagers.
i kid you not but i saw someone who was pressed about people defending benji and saying that vic did some mistakes too saying that we supposed to love the main character and be on his side no matter what and like what?? since then main characters are always right and do nothing wrong?? that's not the point of main characters lmao and it amazes me that some people really think this way. but yes exactly flaws and mistakes make characters real that's why i love vic even tho i'm pretty mad at him for some things he did in s2 and that's why i love benji so much he's flawed he's messed up but this is why i feel so connected to him, and yes arguments happen and it doesn't mean that relationships doesn't work it just means that two people get to know each other better and i'm sure vic and benji will get through it

I keep seeing this around and had to talk about it. I can't believe I keep seeing that it's unrealistic for a gay couple that are highschool sweet hearts to end up together in the end from the pilot of a show at love at first sight? But realistic and rootable when straight highschool couples end up together in the end from the pilot of a show? It makes no sense to me that haters use this as an excuse on Victor/Benji. I want to see a gay love at first sight love story beginning to end with them.
i mean haters often don't make sense especially in lv fandom so it's not surprise for me lmao but i agree it happens in real life why it can't happen on tv?? just like you said it was love at first sight and let me tell you ever since i've watched s1 i already married them in my mind lmao and they weren't even dating yet!! bc they have that kind of chemistry so for me it's totally believable and realistic for them to stay together and we need this exactly bc some people think it can't happen!! also it's pretty much clear that venji is the main couple of the show and i really doubt the writers will mess it up and with s3 they have a perfect opportunity to show that if you're willing to work on your relationship you can get through anything

From both POV's Benji and Victor both messed up in their relationship. The main thing is they both need to communicate with each other. I hope if there is a season 3 they will be able to have healthy communication and share what's actually wrong. I want to see them work out their issues not just throw their love away.
yes i agree they both messed up in their own way and yes the lack of communication is literally their only issue!! if they were communicated properly everything what happened in s2 could have been avoided so yeah s3 should be about healthy communication and i really hope that's what the writers are planning. s2 was about lack of understanding and s3 would be about listening to each other and becoming even stronger than before

what made me mad about 2x08 is that victor couldn't even stand up to his homophobic mom and defend his relationship with benji. victor is the one that texted benji to come over. victor is the one that invited benji to his room to have sex knowing that adrian was home. victor did these things and couldn't own his own mistakes. all benji was doing was trying to defend the relationship he has with his boyfriend. The people that can't see this are defending homophobia.
yes and i had a breakdown bc of this on twitter lmao bc yes it's all happened bc of vic i mean he didn't do anything on purpose and he clearly didn't think that his mom can come back anytime soon but it was consequences of his actions and when isabel walked in on them he didn't know what to say so benji had to stand up for them bc he loves vic and bc it's unbearable for him to see how isabel treats them. i mean i get that it was tough for vic but he could have at least walk out with benji and calm him down but he just kicked him out and never apologized for that

Victor couldn't even congratulate Benji on being 1 year sober on his birthday?? Victor couldn't even support Benji when he asked to be supportive?? Benji shouldn't even have to ask. Victor made it all about himself. No wonder Benji snapped and gave Victor some hard truths to look at because Benji has been nothing but supportive for months dealing with Victor's homophobic mom. Benji was living his own traumas again because his own parents are homophobic too.
ugh i know the more people hate on benji the more i think about all of this and the more i'm mad at victor. yes i get it it's vic's pov but you don't need to go too far to understand that vic's reaction was really selfish and that he hurt benji and it's so frustrating that people just see benji snapping and paint him as a bad guy and don't even try to understand why he snapped. and i hate that people think that benji's done with vic bс he's completely new to being gay bc he clearly didn't mean it what he meant was how hurt he's bc vic's mom thinks that their love is some sin. and yes he's been supportive for months even tho he was living his own traumas just like you said bc he knows how hard it is and he wanted to help vic to get through this and vic didn't want to understand him just one time

Rewatching the scene outside of the restaurant when Victor says “I would never judge you like that” and Benji says “No I know, it’s just my own stuff” - that was one of the only times we got to see his pov even if it was for a second and it’s so unfair we haven’t seen that explored more. He looks so down on himself for his alcoholism and judges himself so harshly you can just tell and I have to believe we’ll get more of it in s3 but it’s also so hard to trust that after 2 seasons of nothing.
that’s true i’m so bitter we didn’t have scenes with benji without vic. and yeah just like he said it was his part of his life that he hates i can only imagine how hard it’s for him to live with it bc yeah he’s sober now but he can’t let this part of his life go he keep hating himself for that. and yeah it feels like everything points at that we have to know benji more in s3 and that we’ll hopefully get his pov but i’m just like you have trust issues

I went back and I watched Benji's birthday episode. At the table Benji begged his mom to stop talking and that he wanted to talk to her in private a couple of times. Both his parents kept ignoring him and kept on with the speech. He looked so defeated. I felt so bad for Benji cause he didn't want Victor to find out his personal issues that way, especially on his birthday.
yeah i wonder if it always like that if his parents always ignor him probably yes since he's only 17 and already has an addiction and nearly died it feels like he doesn't have a support system at all and if it's so he's so strong he accepted himself he decided to get sober live his life and try to be happy
