Being a writer is so interesting. Obviously, I don't do this professionally, but I do have pieces that I'm working on, and holy cow it's such a freaking interesting process. Like, right now, I'm writing this one character whose current decision can be summed up as "good intentions, bad execution" and I'm just like, "Dude, why are you like this, why are you doing this, I love you but you're so stupid"... as if I'm not the one writing him to be this way. Like, yeah, you're my character, but you're not my character. Sure, I wrote you, but I'm not taking responsibility for your actions. It doesn't matter if I'm your god. You've become your own entity. I can't explain you, or the way you think. I can't stop your actions. I don't always understand you. But at the same time, what the heck, I created you, and you're mine, and it doesn't make any sense.

Just... writing.
